We had a wonderful stay at Kaimai Sunset B & B! The property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and offers breathtaking views of the Kaimai Ranges which truly lives up to the name. The room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Brenda and her partner were incredibly warm and welcoming, striking the perfect balance between hospitality and privacy. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the breakfast provisions. Our twin boys really enjoyed their playtime at their backyard and in the hobbit hole. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and explore the nearby sights. We’d love to return someday!

The place is a lovely, quiet and restful with a beautiful view. Very clean and plenty of room. We had a really relaxed time and would definitely come back again.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Spectacular views and so peaceful yet only 5 minutes from the shops in Pirongia. Our family of 4 were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks Ruth and family, great host.

We came in the soft lap of afternoon, dusty from Hobbiton, past lovely green rolling hills breathing under a wide, forgiving sky. The house waited — cozy and sure behind the gate, its beautiful gardens spilling colour and quiet into the day. A dog trotted out to meet us, as if he'd been waiting all along. Inside, light pooled in the corners, the walls carrying stories of warmth, welcome, and careful hands. The rain had brushed the first day clean, and by the last, the sun rose bright and certain, casting light across the fields, painting the day with warmth. We slept with the hills still turning in our dreams, and woke to a place already folded into memory. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had a great few nights here, it was an easy walk to cafes in the morning and easy to get around to other locations around the mount. The Airbnb gets lots of morning sun so it can get pretty warm inside, but it was a lovely comfortable stay overall.

We booked late after our plans changed and Rowena was so gracious to have us stay. Plenty of room and amenities for a couple of people; nice private space with an outdoor area for the warmer weather. Google Maps didn't do a great job getting us there but it wasn't hard to follow the instructions provided. AND some wonderful, local coffee was left for a press in the morning. I would highly recommend!

This was a great space for a weekend away in Papamoa. The unit is super tidy and very comfortable for a short stay. close to the beach and the cafes. Thanks for having us.

gotta love a place that is sooo close to the beach that you can jump in the ocean to start your day. great airbnb, clean, convenient location, very peaceful, and a few restaurants just down the road if you want it. kitchen set up is a bit quirky, but works for everything you need.

A dream place away from home, it felt like staying with family. Lovely cosy and with every possible treat and consideration for a guest. There were so many treasures that you find every time you open something. Our kitten also enjoyed the space and felt very included. Thank you for your kindness! We will return someday 💜

This place is a hidden gem in the area, and the host is incredibly friendly. After a long journey, we both felt right at home. The surroundings are private and peaceful, and the hospitality from the host was truly amazing. I highly recommend this place!

A gorgeous little garden cottage on the outskirts of Rotorua but within easy driving of all the local attractions. It had everything needed for a short stay. Bronwyn was extremely helpful after our rental car got a flat tyre assisting in making a phone call on our behalf.

Our stay at Tahi Totara was an absolutely wonderful experience. Suzie and Murray were delightful and welcoming hosts and we were delighted to have the chance to enjoy some time in their little piece of paradise. Highly recommended 👌

We had the most comfortable of stays at Tui Glen. No other word than perfect can sum up our stay and interaction with Glendyr. It suited our needs to see relations in the area and to reach easily all our activities. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending a stay here. From hot tub, to swimming pool to bikes available for use, all was way beyond our expectations. Just wish we could have had more time available to use the amenities but we were busy visiting tourist attractions and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay Glendyr you have a gorgeous home and the photos do not do it justice. The accommodation is far bigger than we expected. Brilliant 🤩 stay Annette Martin Claire .

Diane is a wonderful host. The space had all the amenities we needed and it felt like a home away from home. It is quiet and spacious and there is ample parking space. The little touches like information on the local sights, restaurants and cafes, convenience stores etc were of great help. A thoughtfully designed space for travellers. We would definitely recommend this place to all!

We had another fantastic stay at Warren's accommodation. It is peaceful and picturesque, and it has everything you need for a relaxing break. Our two little dogs love the local walks along the lake. 5 stars all round.

3rd time back and I'll keep returning when I need to travel - just delightful. Just me for work, far enough out of Tauranga to be quiet, but not too far. Very comfortable and Cricket (puppy) always swings by, but respectfully outside, in the hope of a snack!

Ann was so kind and accepted my last minute booking request, after I decided to hike out a day early from the Tongariro Northern Circuit due to bad weather. It was just the cozy place I needed - and oh did I sleep well! It was so nice and quiet. I would describe Ann's as a "peaceful retreat", and would encourage you to stay a few nights! Ann and her daughter warmly welcomed me, took the time to show me around, and we're just lovely to chat to. The little cottage was just the right size, private, and in the most gorgeous setting. I was kindly offered a late check out, and had the weather not been so sunny I would have happily stayed there all day! Some people are meant to host - Ann is one of those people 😊 I look forward to coming back someday in the future!

Considerate and kind host, appreciated the little things available on arrival such as tea, coffee, sugar, sachet drinks & milk. Lovely amenities that provided everything we needed for our stay. Will recommend to family & friends and will be our first choice of accommodation when passing through Taupo again.

This place is a delight, Trevor and Lynda clearly love hosting people as they have thought of everything that you might need. The accommodation is to a very high quality, and the grounds are magnificent. We loved meeting Billie and Toby too, they bring pure joy to the stay.
