I LOOOVE this!!! The unit is spacious, VERY clean, and a great location with wonderful views! I would have loved to stay for one more day just to relax in the unit as it’s incredible, has everything needed!

I cannot review The Roost as we did not actually stay there. There was an issue with the accommodation we booked and we could not stay there. But, Linda was kind enough to make alternate arrangements for us. For what is worth, the alternate accommodation was fantastic; sparking clean and spacious.

Highly recommend the roost. Great rooms, living space, outdoor area. Everything was provided breakfast, toiletries and linen. Good location easy walk to supermarket and nice drive to Awhitu Regional Park.

Always very welcoming and great cooked breakfast. Very good to see you again.

What an amazingly hand crafted house this is!! Jen greeted us so warmly and gave us a wonderful run down of the features and history of the barn. We were really inspired by Dowie and Jen’s creativity and self-sufficiency. Jen’s suggestion to check out a local private hot mineral pool was SO GOOD!! Our family loved the experience of spending time in a naturally heated pool with revitalising minerals. A truly unique experience staying here and a great location to visit Hobbiton!

Linda was very welcoming upon meeting! The ensuite was lovely, clean & had all the necessities that you needed! It was a short stay however it was a really good stay! Lovely accomodation! Definitely recommend!!

I think the main highlight was the hospitality of this place. I think we actually checked in 30 minutes earlier than expected due to our bus arriving early. Once checking out the next day, since I wasn’t from Rotorua, the host let me leave my bags at reception and go for a wander to explore. The host also let me stay after my check in time to do work in the office. The only downside was the hotness of the room, they had a fan to combat this. The price was a bit steep but it was a good location.

Convenient stay for us as it is right opposite the black water rafting company. Host was super friendly and we even got a nice ensuite toilet in our room! Facilities are nice and the best part was the security guard, George the puppy :)

Staff were responsive and very accommodating! Place had all the essentials we needed and the location is very handy to all the nearby attractions!

Easy check-in, comfy bed, modern feel, with an eclectic edge. Fun place to stay! Love that it was easy to walk/drive around the city from, and enjoyed having a reserved parking spot. Would stay again! Also, the shampoos/soaps are really nice smelling!

We loved our stay at Asure Kaimai View Motel. Such a friendly and informative greeting upon arrival and our unit was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The pool was such an added bonus on a muggy afternoon. Many thanks to our delightful hosts.

A beautiful estate filled with character and charm. It is nestled away in nature and really makes you feel like you've gone away on a luxurious retreat. Our room was clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities. Our room had a spa bath and a walk in shower. We were right by the swimming pool and garden which was lovely and serene. The managers/hosts at the estate were super accommodating and went the extra mile to make our visit special. The breakfast included every morning was also lovely! Can't wait to be back next time :)

Was a great and easy stay, Adam was very responsive from the moment I booked and helpful, place was tidy and comfortable! Good amount of space and wasn’t cluttered

We stayed at Adams place for 1 night while travelling down to the South island. 4 of us plus our doggie. It was a pity that we couldn't stay longer as the location was perfect. Within walking distance if the lakeside restaurants and shops. It was very clean and tidy and the kids loved that there was Netflix available when they got there.
