We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely home over the weekend to celebrate my birthday with my family and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful touches throughout, it’s clear that the hosts take great pride in creating a welcoming and relaxing space. The location was peaceful and perfect for a family getaway, with plenty of space to enjoy time together. 10/10 would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and well-cared-for home. We’ll definitely be back!

Kris has a beautiful property! Spatious, very well equipped, comfortable furniture, great entertainment options for adolescents and children. Great option to spend quality time together as a larger group.

We had a wonderful stay at Eliane’s place! The cottage was very comfortable, very spacious, well decorated and very clean. The place is very quiet and peaceful and has a beautiful view on the Ottawa River. We would stay there any time again.

Ashley's place was very thoughtfully decorated inside, cozy and with all amenities you could need. Makes you feel right at home. The hot tub and sauna were nice, although the hot tub didn't get super hot and the sauna took a while to heat up, but it was a chilly weekend. Ashely herself is very friendly and accommodating. We had a really nice stay at her place.

Every year, we reunite as friends in a chalet… and this one is, without a doubt, the most beautiful we’ve ever stayed in. The place radiates peace and natural beauty. Everything is spotlessly clean, thoughtfully prepared, and offered with true generosity. Délicious coffee, a selection of teas, soft robes, firewood provided… it truly feels like a spa retreat. We enjoyed coffee by the lake, yoga on the terrace, and peaceful moments by the stunning indoor fireplace. And the hosts… such a kind, welcoming, and thoughtful family, sharing this little piece of paradise with heart. Thank you so much Brianna and Devin for welcoming us so warmly. Lovely cottage on lake Mississipi that was perfect for 4 people and our puppies. Wonderful communication and easy check in and out process. Good distance from Carleton which has access to all you need. cozy stay.

Second time renting this cottage with a group of 10 women who've known each other for 50 years!! The cottage was a perfect fit for all of us. Location is perfect, with a beautiful view of the river. Perfect walking distance (under 5K) to Quyon and Gavans Hotel for a quart!! Cottage is clean, modern. Having two fire pits offers options to gather - as well as many outdoor area's to gather, back deck, front deck, by the water. Scott is available for any questions - answering right away!! We loved it so much, that we've already booked for our 2026 weekend. Can't say enough good things about the cottage - it was perfect for our gathering - knowing that there are great memories there to last a lifetime. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a relaxing, secluded, private spot to make your own memories.

One of the best AirBnBs we have been to. Super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed and a beautiful view of the river. Enhanced by the flocks of geese that landed on the water. We had restful nights! Great memories in the making!

We had a great time at Paul’s cottage. The place was clean and warm at our arrival, all the instruction were clear and available. Well maintained with all the modern comfort you need. Very quiet and loads of privacy. The place is right on the water, we really enjoyed the outdoor campfire spot. The bbq was definitely a plus. I recommend this place!

The best Airbnb experience I've ever had at this beautiful cottage! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Tiffany and Alex put so much thought into making this a perfect stay. The cottage was immaculately clean, incredibly organized, and stocked with everything you could possibly need—down to the smallest detail. The property itself is stunning, offering both peace and beauty in every direction. Tiffany and Alex were amazing hosts—extremely communicative and always ready to assist with anything. Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

The house was just perfect for our family. We are a family of 4 and travelled to Ottawa to meet my sister in law and mother in law- but needed a space to be able to spend the weekend all together. Monica's place is quite large and has so many unique areas to hang out, that anyone wanting a quiet space could have it. In the summer it would have been even more amazing with all the beautiful decks on the house. The beds were all comfortable and bedrooms were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was large and generally had most supplies. It was a cold weekend with a lot of snow- Monica took care of regular snow cleaning and the house/every room was very comfortable and warm. Monica was very kind and responsive to questions. We would love to stay here again.

This is an excellent cottage—super clean, with a lake view, located in a very calm and relaxing area. There’s a store just a 2-minute drive away that has everything we needed. Majid is a great host and provided us with everything we could possibly need. The cottage is maintained and equipped as if it were for his own use. He’s also very welcoming. I highly recommend this place—we’ll definitely come back!

Karine's place was so peaceful - the perfect getaway! The cottage smells like cedar and has a lovely fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Karine was always very quick at responding and super friendly. The instructions to get there were mostly clear, although you have to go down the hill (to the right), and not up the hill (left) when you first turn onto the country road. Perhaps a bit pricy for the size, but we would definitely book again!
