If you want a private, well furnished home in the woods with fishing access on the stream and 2 fire pits this is your place!! Staying at this house made a work trip for my crew and I, feel like we were on vacation for 2 nights while staying there. Worth the money and great hosts!

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

Absolutely recommend, terrific spot, very calm and peaceful. Gena's house met our every need, everything was easy to access. The location was very near Belfast Maine, nice community with great restaurants and beautiful waterfront scenery. We'd rent again sometime for sure.

We had an amazing time over valentines day weekend. There was a snow storm and Kent snow blowed around our vehicle to make sure we could get out. The house is very comfortable and peaceful, amazing view of the river and just off the road enough to not be bothered by passing traffic. Definitely recommend!!!!

Our group of friends and family really enjoyed staying at this peaceful winter getaway house! We are already talking about coming back up in the summertime. The toys and games made my kids so happy and kept them well-entertained. Perfect amount of space for our big group! Lori was flexible and responsive, a wonderful host! Thank you again 🛷

This was a really nice house on a beautiful lake. The beds were comfortable and there were enough to accommodate us. It was very clean and easy to enjoy your stay. We really enjoyed our stay.

This Airbnb was the perfect weekend getaway! The peaceful atmosphere, stunning winter views of the lake, and cozy indoor fireplace made it a truly relaxing retreat. The hot tub was a highlight—perfect for unwinding and enjoying the scenery. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals and enjoy nights in. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. My stay here was absolutely awesome—cozy, charming, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Tucked away in a quiet spot, it had just the right mix of comfort and style, with a super comfy bed, a well-equipped little kitchen, and warm lighting that made evenings feel magical. The host went above and beyond, leaving local tips and a welcome treat that totally made my day. I honestly didn’t want to leave! And the view to the lake was so beautiful especially the sunsets for the cabin overlooking everything was just so awesome!

We couldn't think of a single thing to complain or dislike about this cottage. Mischele has thought of everything, every basic need, that you forget when traveling, was thought of for you. The cottage is warm and inviting and the instructions sheet for using your amenities was detailed and answered any questions we came up with. And don't get me started on the adorable coastal towns you drive though to get here, even in the off season they are bustling small towns with so much history and character. Thanks so much for such a great weekend away from our busy lives!

My husband and I stayed here over Veterans Day weekend. The home was super clean and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches throughout. We had everything we needed and more. The view of the water was beautiful, and we had a great time taking out the kayaks and watching the waterfowl. It was peaceful and quiet the whole time we were there. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We would definitely stay again!

Loons Rest was the perfect get away spot for our 40th anniversary. We were lucky to enjoy the swimming dock in mid September as the daytime temperatures were in the upper 70's to low 80's. The lake was pristine and was warm enough for swimming still. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons as well as the eagles and kingfishers. We loved the outdoor fire pit when the evenings turned cool as well as the indoor fireplace which is a work of art! Also the was plenty of well seasoned firewood. Everything about this place is very well thought out. If they don't have it you don't need it! The kitchen was well equipped and we were happy to find that there was everything we needed to prepare pizzas to cook on our solo stove pizza oven that we had brought along! John is a great host and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend Loons Rest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and relaxing spot to vacation.

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the lake house and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the little getaway. It is beautifully located on the lake and has this huge window in the living room from which you have an amazing view. The house has everything you need, even washing machine and dryer in the basement. I would 100% recommend this unique place! Christine has been super helpful throughout my stay.

Our stay at the lake house was so peaceful. Even though the weather was cold and breezy, we still enjoyed watching the lake, eagles around the lake and even saw some Northern Lights! The lake house was very clean and comfortable. Great WiFi connection for when I needed to work. Melanie was very accommodating and friendly when we asked to check in earlier than expected. She recommended some good places to eat as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and visit in the future.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay. It was my son’s wedding and I loved being able to come back from the activities to rest and relax . It was very homey.

Terrill and Charlie‘s cabin is lovely! Great communication, the cabin is well equipped (including lots of board games) and super cozy. We had a really relaxing time and might come back in spring :)

I loved this place! Enjoying coffee and meals outside on the deck overlooking the lake and beautiful surroundings of nature. I felt safe there and was a charming neighborhood. I loved that there were boats to use and a dock to watch sunset an autumn harvest moon over lake! Jess was the perfect host and made sure everything was great when I arrived. She was very helpful when I had any questions and I am looking so forward to going back there again! Thank you Jess for sharing this wonderful place!!!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Chalet for our anniversary. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our weekend special. When we first checked in, there was soft music playing and mood lighting, making the cabin feel warm and cozy. They kindly provided us with a flower bouquet, an anniversary cake, treats, and wine. Feras wrote us an anniversary card that was personally addressed to me and my boyfriend; he had clearly read our reservation request closely and had thoughtfully curated our experience accordingly. Ultimately, we had a great stay and we would love to go back in the future.
