Best Corner Uptown; Walk to Audubon Park; Ride Streetcar

This home is located in one of the very best neighborhoods in New Orleans and is within easy walking distance of the St Charles Avenue streetcar; two top-rated restaurants, a French bistro, several other casual restaurants, a wine shop, a cheese shop, a grocery, a neighborhood bar, two banks,, a hair salon, a nail salon, a dry cleaner and much more! Built in 1900, the home is accessed by the brick stairs leading to the porch landing and double beveled glass doors. There is plenty of on-street parking just outside the front doors. You are invited to relax and make yourself at home. Yes, you may play the piano! (It was just tuned!) In the building, 2nd floor only (it's plenty of space at 1700 sq ft). Guests are also welcome to enjoy the covered sitting area, the patio and garden and the grill, if desired. Use of the basement or third or fourth floors are not permitted for this rental. I am available by phone or text when needed, but want you to enjoy your privacy, so will not visit without an invitation. There are instructions inside the apartment and also a listing of recommended dining options and music venues. I have travelled to many countries and enjoyed the hospitality from people all over the world. It is my great pleasure to host fellow travellers in my home! Welcome!! Jeanie The house is in an area with some of the finest architecture in New Orleans. It’s one block to the streetcar and steps away from excellent cafes, restaurants, shops, and markets such as Zara's Lil' Giant Supermarket. This is the best walking neighborhood Uptown. Even Magazine street is only 6 blocks away. You can Uber or Lyft anywhere outside the neighborhood or take the streetcar to your destination and Uber or Lyft home I cannot say enough about the location of this apartment and the spaciousness and scale of the architecture.

A neighborhood home that is extremely convenient and close to all of the fun and excitement, yet only 12 minutes from the hustle, bustle of the city! We are located in a quiet and safe suburb home with parking for many vehicles. The streetcar (trolly) is only 4 miles away which travels to the city of New Orleans; the city that never sleeps! My home is equipped with a coffee pot, coffee, creamer, sugar and other sweetners. I also offer coke,diet coke,sprite and bottle water. There's a microwave, crock pot and a refrigerator, as well as utensils, dishes and other essentials for your convenience. We are in walking distance to a convenience store, a daiquiri shop and the Chalmette National Battlefield. Within a half mile radius there is the famous Rocky & Carlo's restaurant, a hospital, grocery, Wal Mart, laundromat, post office, banks, casino, local hot spots, and a park just to name a few!

Our home is close to Magazine St, the St Charles Streetcar, the Prytania Theatre, Whole Foods, Crepe Nanou, St James Cheese and Creole Creamery. We are less than a mile from Tulane and Loyola Univs, and Audubon Park & Zoo. Our neighborhood has tree lined streets, Victorian and Ante-Bellum architecture and is a great place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly cottage. It has been completely updated. This beautiful 2 bedroom 1 bath home sits on a double lot. The back yard is completely fenced and is shaded by beautiful 100 year old oak trees. I also allow guest to bring a pet with a $50 fee. Pet should weigh under 30 pounds.
