What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

Great stay in a beautiful location with many amenities included in the room. Peaceful and basic, but everything you would need. We would only recommend something to deter the Wasps as the room is located near to the Oak tree but this would be the only minor thing!

Amazing place! The star is definitely the view while soaking in the hot tub. The hut has everything we needed for a weekend stay. The kitchen is enough to prepare simple meals and bbq. The location is near so many places to visit like Bath and Wells. The hut was easy to find and Andrew was very helpful in explaining everything. He was also very responsive. We will definitely be back.

My partner and I enjoyed a splendid two-night stay at the Hideaway. The property was impeccably clean, and the hot tub was exceptional. We appreciated the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. Annie provided outstanding service and ensured a warm welcome. We look forward to returning.

We loved our stay at the old chicken house!! The house itself is beautiful and even better than the pictures, it’s so peaceful and we felt at home right away! George and the other co hosts had very kindly put up a birthday banner as we were staying to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and provided some lovely breakfast bits which added to the welcoming feel of the house! We stayed with our Labrador -Maggie and there were lots of great walks nearby, she particularly enjoyed the woodland walk by Otterhead lakes! The perfect relaxing escape! We didn’t want to leave!!

What a lovely little hideaway, a real gem of a find. It was nice and clean, it has everything you need and more, lots of added little touches which made you feel welcomed and at home. The view from the hot tub was beautiful, it was very relaxing listening to the birds although we could of connected our phone to the hot tub so you could listen to music which some people might like. Ann-Marie is a fantastic host, she got in contact around a week before our booking with information we would need to make our stay a positive experience. Ann-Marie was there on arrival although there was a key safe and we had the number she came across and welcomed us in and showed us around, she even gave us recommendations for a couple of beautiful walks which was really nice. She has pets but you don't hear them at all. We saw the dog and the cat but only when we were down by our car, both very friendly but only because we went over and interacted with them not because they ran up to us. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in Sunrise Cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and we loved the whole vibe. The bed was really comfy. I was concerned about being cold but the heaters kept us warm when needed. The garden is wonderful and I enjoyed wandering around and taking it all in. There is a great view of Glastonbury Tor from the Yoga Circle at the top of the garden. We so loved meeting the donkeys, they were so adorable. Hopefully we will be back, I would love to stay in the Summer when the roses are out and to find out more about the garden.

Me and my partner spent 2 nights here. Great communication with Diane and David from the start and very quick to answer any questions before our getaway. We tied in our break with a day spent in Cardiff for the six nations, so the location was perfect for us - beautiful surroundings, easy to find and away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, which was a lovely! An extra thank you to David for making sure our travel arrangements on the Saturday were as easy and stress free as possible! Overall, a fantastic place to stay and we’ve already talked about coming back with friends and staying in both lodges! Thank you both :)

What a beautiful place Bumblebee Lodge is and the surroundings suited it well. We stayed for two nights and it felt like a week it was so relaxed. Loved that we were able to bring our dog and the site is very dog friendly also. Our boys loved the fishing, everyone was really helpful and friendly.

Myself, my husband and my 2 boys had a lovely overnight stay in Anne’s ‘Little House’. Anne gave us a wonderful welcome, detailing all the things we needed to know about the house and area. She was super lovely with our boys- it’s the little things like remembering names and ages of your hosts and the reasons why they are visiting you. The Little House is much more spacious than what I thought when looking at the pictures. Lovely decor, nice shower and everything was clean and tidy- also very comfortable! Anne was also very accommodating towards our dog. We didn’t think to bring a dog bed and Anne came as if like magic with one, for our dog use during our stay. All in all The Little House is a lovely place to stay and we will be coming back in the summer time. Thank you again Anne!

Beautiful stay I can’t wait to stay again, so many lovely touches. We felt right at home and our furry family were also so at home and loved the woodland area to play and explore. Loved the attention to detail 5 stars guys.

We had such a lovely relaxing time at Kingfisher Lodge. Phil & Marshella were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Enjoyed the hot tub so enjoyable especially at night with the lights. My husband enjoyed the fishing, caught a carp weighing get around 28llbs i think, he was so chuffed. would definitely recommend and would stay again Thank you again Julie & Sean

We had lovely few days at the Dubassof cabin so nice, quiet and peaceful. Great location out in the countryside and ideal for us to enjoy two days on the West Somerset railway steam gala with Bishop Lydeard station only 10 minute drive away. Plenty of information about walks and places to eat locally in the cabin, and Taunton not far away if you needed larger supermarkets etc., Would recommend and we hope to visit again!

Me, my wife and our little dog have had the most relaxing of breaks at Birch lodge. in addition we have not felt as comfortable as we did at a rental accommodation in many a year. Peace, space, time and comfort... what more could we ask for. 10/10!

Bronia is a brilliant host! right from the time of booking she has been in touch , giving us clear instructions and information. She is very proactive and responded quite quickly to any questions or comment we had. The holiday home is pristine, cozy and well-maintained with all the required facilities for a short staycation. The surrounding areas are beautiful and it is super easy to drive down to the nearest town of Minehead, Dunster and Lynton. We would highly recommend Bronia and her lovely home to everyone for a lovely vacation in Somerset Taunton. A*

We were 4 people and the place was very nice and beautiful. We checked in late evening but Paul welcomed us warmly and showed the place.He was very nice! My kids liked the outdoor toys which gave us some time to ourselves. The communication was great. Nice, clean and kids room was cute! We also enjoyed bbq and the stay.Thank you Paul.

This was our second time staying at Pia’s place and we had the most wonderful trip. The cabin is clean and cosy with everything we needed and the surroundings are stunning. It’s the perfect place for us to switch off from city life for a few days and we can’t wait to return again soon. Pia is a super responsive and helpful host who was always quick and friendly in her responses. Thank you Pia!

Avalon Retreat is lovely and in a perfect location, being just a couple of minutes' walk to the High Street.

Another excellent and comfortable stay at Sandys cabin! As my previous review, the bed is the real selling point! The cabin location is also very peaceful and parking easy to find outside! Great location for when I go to Glenside for my uni course :) Sandy also a great host, making sure everything you need is available

Had an absolutely fantastic time at Lindsay's property, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was brilliant. The idea was for a quiet, chilled few days and that's exactly what we got. The weather wasn't great so we weren't able to use the decked area and patio as much as we would have liked, but we did spend some time when the sun did shine outside and it was just perfect. So quiet, due to it's location on the park, with a view of the fields and trees, birds singing, squirrels visiting it was great. The lodge itself was amazing, very clean and perfect everything you could need or want was there. Beds were comfortable as was the lounge seating area - everything just brilliant. Lindsay was so helpful before during and after the visit, nothing was too much trouble and clear instructions given about everything. We will definitely look to return here without question.

We used Patricia’s space as a base for visiting local beaches and trail walks around the new forest. The location was perfect as it meant we could drive to these locations with ease. Place gorgeous, spotless and private. All amenities had been provided and well thought about down to the last detail. We wished we had stayed for longer!

Helen was super friendly and helpful. she was very responsive to messages which was great. would highly recommend staying here.
