Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. The cottage is surrounded by woodland and nature with walks in every direction from your doorway. The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

A perfect romantic cottage for couples. It boasts oak beams, ingle nook fireplace with wood burner and a large airy cruck beamed bedroom with stunning far reaching views east over Herefordshire countryside. Enjoy the morning sun over breakfast, near the open door and listen to the birds.

The Annex at The Oaks

The Annex is a separate building on two floors. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. There is a kingsize bed and a sofa bed available. We do provide extra laundry for the sofa bed at a cost of £15. Please let me know if you require the sofa bed making up. To access the bedroom are external stairs. Downstairs is a great open plan living space. There is private parking. Ross town is a mile away. PLEASE NOTE: the Annexe is next to a busy main road and traffic can be heard from the Annexe.

Wood fired hot tub & fire pit avail if specifically booked for additional charge. Relax & enjoy the countryside peace

High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Relax and take in the beautiful surrounding scenery at Boathouse which sits along the bank of River Wye in an AONB with spectacular views across the river. There are plenty of activities/adventures to keep you busy! Including wild swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, climbing Yat rock, bike riding, woodland walks and fishing. Welcome to our converted stone barn in the Monnow Valley. This rural retreat offers picturesque views of meadows, trees, and hills. Inside, you will discover a spacious living area with an open layout and a few *steps* down to the living room. The patio windows allow plenty of natural light and provide stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Upstairs are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds.
