It's less than 15 minutes drive to Leura and Blackheath. Despite its proximity to these historic townships and landmarks it remains a secluded sanctuary.

NB the tennis court is great for a fun game, but not professional standard, and the piano is very old and out of tune and not playable (other than for fun).

The Gatehouse at Mirimiri is a hand-built limestone cottage set on a 10-hectare property on the edge of Wentworth Falls. It is situated at the end of a quiet, dead-end road adjoining the beautiful World Heritage National Park. The cottage is warm and welcoming, with a rustic charm, and the modern amenities ensure a comfortable stay. The cottage looks out over the garden where you will sometimes see the local wallabies and lyrebirds. 25kw DC EV charger available by arrangement. CCS2 type.

There are plenty of books and board games to enjoy. A ping pong table in the garage and fast WiFi available. We try to keep our beautiful home as green as possible with solar power, compost bin, eco products and reusable and recycled goods.

Walking tracks from the back gate and Leura just a five minute drive away.
