We always like McCall. Mike and Stella's place is close to town and close to Ponderosa. We felt welcome. The beds were nice. We're a family of four, and sitting together at night was a bit odd, as there are two big (very comfy!!) chairs to sit on in the living area. No room to add seats for the other two members of our family. We made it work by sharing the big seats, but this could be something to be aware of. There is not really a kitchen, but you can make yourself a cup of coffee or heat something up in the microwave. There is a fridge. Stella and Mike had left plenty treats for breakfast, which was nice! If it was just the two of us, I'd like to stay here again. We liked the area as usual, we went cross country skiing at Bear Basin, show shoeing near Gold Fork Hotsprings, went sledding in Ponderosa. In short: we loved it!

We definitely hit the jackpot on our first trip to Alaska by staying at Barry’s place! The views of the mountains were incredible - definitely breathtaking! This was a perfect distance from the city life in Anchorage. I cannot express how beautiful the views of the mountains were from this airbnb.

We wholeheartedly recommend this charming Casita. Mark and Christina are friendly hosts. Our stay was peaceful & relaxing. This beautiful space is cozy, clean, organized & safe. Truly exceptional breakfasts. Such a blessing to have had this wonderful casita for our anniversary trip.

Absolutely amazing experience for the money. It was exactly what I needed to get away and find peace. You couldn't say better things about the host because they were available with clarity every step of the way. I highly recommend a chance to enjoy that Camelot atmosphere. This was a lovely place to stay. There are stairs going up to the very private apartment. The views of the garden below and the trees and mountains in the distance make for a very peaceful surrounding. The apartment has lots of windows and natural light yet offers tree top privacy. I look forward to another stay.

I cannot be more appreciative of Mark’s hospitality and kindness. The house is like stepping into a time capsule but also comfortable. The yard and trees are beautiful and the variety of birds and songs could occupy you all day. Would be perfect for a gathering but also perfect for a quiet trip. Plenty of things to explore as well. Will definitely be back!

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Doug and Donna were wonderful and gracious hosts. They made us feel right at home with their warm welcomes and scrumptious breakfasts. The room was specious and comfortable. We enjoyed our time there and would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Jasper National Park.

We truly loved our stay with Mark and Shirley! They were welcoming and wonderful hosts! When we arrived Mark was mowing the grass which was a wonderful welcoming smell of fresh cut grass we miss living in the desert! Shirley came and welcomed us even after having knee surgery! We had a wonderful stay and the most amazing breakfast the next morning! Thank you both so much for your hospitality! Would love to come back!

Our stay at Honey Bear B&B in Canmore was epic! Fran, our friendly Canadian host, gave us hiking tips like a trail guru and handed us bear spray—because apparently, elk were in the mood. Yep, it was elk mating season, so our hikes turned into a mix of nature walks and dodging love-struck elk. Breakfast? Fran didn’t just stop at muffins. One morning, she served a full-on charcuterie board. Meats and cheeses before 9 a.m.? We felt like royalty in hiking boots. When Fran was out, Dean, her dry-witted English husband, kept us laughing so hard we forgot we were supposed to be resting. The location? Steps from mountain views so good they felt illegal. We hiked, laughed, ate, and managed to avoid any elk proposals. If you want a place with stunning trails, gourmet snacks, and comedy gold, Honey Bear’s your spot. Just be prepared for romantic elk!

This place is the perfect getaway for a couple looking to explore Sonoma County without paying for an overpriced hotel. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. The Sleep Number bed was incredibly comfortable—it actually caused us to sleep in longer than expected! Upon arrival, the hosts warmly greeted us and gave us a tour of their home. They even offered to set up a fire near their beautiful rose garden or let us relax on their front porch. They also provided a great binder full of thoughtful local recommendations. We’d absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

Sylvia’s Lone Pine Ranch is a perfect getaway not too far from the city! The delicious breakfasts and suppers were a highlight, offering hearty meals that felt like home. Sylvia and Lena’s warm and friendly conversations made the stay even more enjoyable, and the fun animal experiences—like feeding and petting—added a unique charm. The environment was incredibly relaxing; I even finished a book while soaking in a hot bath. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the best part? You can bring your dog! It’s the perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and fun. Can’t wait to return! I feel like I’ve made new friends.

Diana was an excellent host. Her house is beautiful and peaceful. The room was larger than we expected and everything was clean. She gave us lots of recommendations as it was out first time on the island. The breakfast was great and she even gave us muffins to take with us. We really enjoyed our time here.

Lovely home and family! Cara's place had everything I needed and then some. Beautiful and cozy room with direct access to the patio. Clear directions and expectations in the house. Great stay and highly recommend.

Feels like staying with a favorite family member! Comfortable bed, spotless bathroom (so much so I even took a bath one night), and the most incredible breakfasts and conversations each morning. Truly what a B&B stay should be and so rare in the US! I do recommend you have a car to get into Portland and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay in Canmore with Krista! It was exactly what we were hoping for while in town for a few days. This location was perfect for skiing at Sunshine, ice skating at Lake Louise, ice fishing at a local reservoir, and hopping around town to shop and eat. We can’t wait to visit again!

Heather's apartment is clean, quite and comfortable. It is nice to be in Canmore without being in the middle of Canmore, but with easy access to everything. It was better than anticipated, and I had heard good things about it before arrival. Great place to stay when visiting Canmore.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tom and Colleen's place! It was located perfectly for us...close to town, yet far enough away to feel like you were out in the woods. Their home was very lovely and homey. The view of the mountains was amazing! The house was equipped with everything we needed and more. We loved it! Our host were good about responding to questions I had and accommodated the best they could. Thank you so much Tom and Colleen!

This was a wonderful space to unwind and enjoy the beauty of salt spring island. Lisa and Gary were excellent hosts and helpful with recommendations and assistance as needed. We enjoyed the patio, hot tub, grill, and view throughout the stay. The frogs lulled us to sleep and birds woke us up daily. It is a place we hope to return to for sure.

We had a wonderful time at Ollie‘s place in Long Beach! The unit is absolutely charming, very well-maintained with beautiful arches and upgraded furniture. Very comfortable bedding and extremely spacious and bright. The location right by the ocean is unbeatable and the sound of the waves as you go to sleep was extremely relaxing. You can just hop out to take a stroll on the beach, which was incredible. Ollie is an amazing hostess, with exceptional communication, very accommodative, and served up the most delicious freshly made breakfast. We could not have been more thrilled with the incredible stay at Ollie’s for our girls getaway weekend!!

The place is fabulous. Well appointed. Clean and very comfortable. A great location to explore the Prince George area from. Two things to note: one, as described, limited meal prep options; and two, steep stairs with good handrails to consider. When outside, you do hear some traffic noise. It didn’t bother us but we have it at our home.
