A beautiful Victorian basement apartment in a perfect location for exploring Dartmoor National Park and the surrounding area by foot, bicycle or car. Fully fitted kitchen, bathroom with walk in shower, and generously sized bedroom. Ash View has underfloor heating to keep you cosy. Sole entry to the apartment is via a set of outdoor stairs. Secure bicycle storage is inside the apartment and a boot room for drying clothing and gear. Art workshops are also available and taught by the host!

Perfectly located just off the A30 in the heart of Devon we are an ideal place to stop and explore. Situated on the edge of Dartmoor with easy reach to local beaches, cycle paths or exploring deep gorges. There's plenty to see and do. Return back and relax over a BBQ in the summer garden. Interact with the chickens, ducks and geese, collect eggs or snuggle down under a cosy cover during a winters evening. It's an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall (only five miles away), Dartmoor, and the wider south Devon area. Sorry, no group or party bookings. One-night bookings are available on request, subject to a 50% premium. There's no self-check-in facility, as we like to welcome our guests face-to-face.

There is also a lovely village pub The White hart which also serves good food. We are half an hour away from Plymouth ideal for shopping and many attractions Tavistock is a beautiful old market town only 15 minutes drive The Tamar Trails centre has lots of out door fun things to-do as well as lovely walks
