Lovely lodge situated 10 minutes away from Loch Lomond! Views from the lodge are absolutely stunning. We loved looking for the bunnies in the field and bird watching. Lots of useful amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. The shower pressure was not the best but it did the job and heated up quickly. Great WiFi speed. Great enclosed grass area for dogs and you are allowed to walk around the owners field to go and see the sheep and lambs. The owners were lovely and friendly too, Lesley was brill on check in, showing us how to use all the different things and gave lots of recommendations of things to do in the surrounding area.

Great lodge on a pleasant site with other similar properties. Easy to access, quiet and very comfortable. Absolutely perfect for climbing Ben Lomond as you can walk (5 mins) to start of the trail , avoiding the busy public car park. A separate bathroom and shower room ideal for our family of 4. Well equipped kitchen and pets welcome ! Sarah was a friendly and responsive host. Would recommend

Rhonda was very welcoming and easy to talk to, accomadation was located superbly, and as we were travelling with young kids, worked very well for us with the play area upstairs and garden space.

We had such a great time at Doug’s place. We lucked out with the weather, which definitely helped, but the location of the chalet is stunning right by the loch. Doug and his daughter were so helpful and friendly, we enjoyed exploring the local area as well as taking the kayaks out on the lake and sitting back enjoying the view. Hoping we’ll be back!

Had a such a lovely stay with family. Great directions and check in instructions, cabin was spotless and beds very comfortable. Christmas tree and decor added to the trip, whilst weather wasn’t kind, views were still stunning. Kitchen had everything we needed, overall a lovely festive break.

Lovely place to stay with a beautiful view of the Loch. Very quiet and private and just 5 mins walk to local village with cafe, pub, shop.

Everything you would expect and more! Amazing location, great accommodation and even better hosts. A weekend thoroughly enjoyed and well will be back again

We stayed as a family of eight and really enjoyed our stay at the Hoot, it was cozy, had all the amenities that we required. Bed linen was clean and beds comfortable. A little dusty in the corners of the floor but otherwise pretty clean. Beautiful surroundings which we really loved , great for paddle boarding when the loch is calm. Would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to come back at some point.
