Great location for a little family like ours. Felt very safe and secure in the location, very peaceful. Few little issues which was swiftly dealt with by the guys and very quick to response. Beautiful surroundings. Great place to stay if you want to do day trips. Not far from Falkirk and Stirling and also only 30 mins drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Local access to shops only 3 mins away. Warm, cosy and homely. Comfy beds, great little kitchen area with all you need for a family stay. Hot tub is a great extra to have. Can’t recommend enough.

We had a fantastic stay at Martin and Charul's apartment and would definitely stay there again! From the moment of booking to departure communication was flawless and we felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, decorated beautifully and we had everything that we could have needed. The apartment is well situated and only a short walk to princes street and Edinburgh Waverley so the perfect location to explore the city.

We had an absolutely lovely time at Ali's place. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Hot tub and garnden really make the place with stunning views. Easy access to Edinburgh by train and car and also the Fife coastal path. We loved it! would be very happy to return again one day. Ali was the perfect host.

Helen was an excellent host and very helpful when we were dropped off at the wrong place! We felt really welcomed in their home, and enjoyed the lovely welcome gift. The hot tub is lovely and overlooks the beautiful property. Loved our stay!

This was our second stay at the cottage and had a lovely time. Cozy, with everything you could possibly need and having the log fire is a bonus. The location is perfect for us as it is close to family but staying on a working farm is also fun to see everything going on. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. A big thank you to the superhosts for your kindness, patience, and excellent communication in making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. 🙏🙏♥️

Had a wonderful couple of nights in this beautiful apartment. The building is gorgeous especially the huge windows and staircase. Well equipped kitchen and the round dining table was perfect to share meals and chat. Excellent location with tram to centre minutes away. Comfortable beds and ample room for up to 3 couples. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the Trail House. the cottage is perfectly located for walking and cycling in the glentress forest, and is walking distance to the local pub/restaurant. the house was perfectly set up for everything we needed, and Hayley was a super responsive and flexible host.

The location is amazing — perfect for exploring the city. The place was very clean, exactly as described, and the host communicated well. We did have one hiccup: there were only two towels provided, even though there were three of us, so we had to share, which wasn’t ideal. Also, like other reviews mentioned, the bed is very noisy. I figured it couldn’t be that bad since I don’t move much when I sleep, but even the slightest movement made noise. Other than that, we had a good stay and really enjoyed the home and the area. I would give it 4.5 stars because 5 means perfect, and the bed and towel issues weren't so great.

We had a wondeful weekend in Edinburgh and the apartment did not disappoint. The location is ideal, close enough to the main sites, but still private and quiet. Paul left some essentials in the apartment, which was much appreciated. The apartment felt bigger than on the pictures and had great touches, from original features to modernised fixtures.

What an incredible house in a beautiful neighborhood. The house is so well equipped and so clean. Lots of cereals, cookies, tea and coffee to make our stay even more perfect. The backyard was a bonus with the children. Great location too for public transportation, very easy to go anywhere. Ronnie was so responsive and so accommodating. Many thanks!

Easy access to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Nice and quiet area also safe. There is not much around but its fair you can drive everywhere easily. Fair price i can recommend everyone.

We had a lovely few days, staying at Appletree Cottage, with our two grandchildren aged 6 and 3. The cottage was very comfy and well equipped, and ideally suited our needs. Good location for many attractions such as Blair Drummond Safari Park, Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. We were lucky to have good weather so the excellent play area and hot tub were much enjoyed each day. Would definitely recommend booking.

Lovely comfortable and spacious home that was ideally located to allow me to walk to my work location. Kirsty proved an excellent host with quick responses and very clear and helpful communication. When a minor issue arose Kirsty responded quickly to rectify it. Would happily stay here again if work brings me back.

Wonderful location. Quiet but central to many destinations in central Scotland. Perfect fish and chips just 3 min walk away.

Good accommodation. Close to high street, shops and dining by car in 10 minutes. Cottage is as described. Very clean and tidy. Francesco was supportive and prompt in response. We liked the place.

Staying at this farm becomes a real countryside experience, but with all the comforts. Geraldine was attentive and charming. The house is full of energy and one can feel there is human story behind. The building is beautiful and cosy. We felt at home. It is also simply perfect for the kids, who can safely explore around and have fun in the playground and the woods. West Lothian region is an amazing territory, full of unexpected gems. One of the greatest success of this family trip in Scotland was choosing this accommodation.
