This cottage has great proportions with a large lounge and kitchen area. The smaller separate bedroom is lovely too with a bath (only big enough for one person) and toilet in the room. We found the dappled light in both bedroom and living are absolutely calming, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The outside shower is hot and extremely enjoyable.

After week's of travel in Botswana with our 10 year old girls, Chris's bungalow and space was a mini oasis for our visit to Cape Town. The glorious setting, fabulous antiques, art, excellent kitchen, outdoor showers, wood-fired hot tub and having a million places to perch and just relax was near perfection. We were also so grateful to Chris for stocking the place with fresh fruit and other fabulous supplies that we didn't even really need to go out for food for a few days. We would recommend any of Chris's spaces to anyone who wants a home away from home with extra care, beauty and elegance.

Firstly, the pictures do not do this darling of a house justice! It is immaculate. We came for the weekend for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and what a lovely time it is. Close enough to the beach and vibey places, but secluded enough that you can enjoy the peace serenity of the place. Karen was an amazing host! Very communicative, quick to respond and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay, absolutely ideal holiday destination. Facilities are immaculate and of high quality. This has been our best coastal location ever and will HIGHLY recommend this facility. What an awesome few days we had at Shani’s place , truly magical to wake up on the beach, the bungalow is very comfortable and has everything you need , the jacuzzi was an extra bonus , we will be back here as soon as we can 😊

Had a great stay with my family at Beata’s beach cottage! Peaceful and Friendly. A few steps and we were at the beach! My daughter was thrilled! Beata is a great host and her place was perfect for a family escape. Beata is always there when you need her but also gives you space to enjoy the space in peace. We truly appreciated her approach to hosting. Kommetjie is a hidden gem!

Charming little bungalow in a beautiful location set just back from the beach up an unmade road and with the most welcoming hosts who also provided us with a delicious braai one evening (extra cost). Super quiet and relaxing, and very comfortable beds.

Our stay at The Sink Shack was beyond incredible – it truly felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in peace, privacy, and pure nature. If you're looking to disconnect from the world and reconnect with what matters, this is the place. One of the biggest highlights for us was being able to bring our dogs along. They were in absolute heaven – roaming free, exploring the area, and enjoying every minute of it just as much as we did. The hikes nearby are honestly some of the best we’ve ever done – stunning views, untouched nature, and total solitude. We felt like we had the trails all to ourselves. The shack itself is a dream – beautifully designed, super comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. You can feel how much care has gone into making this space welcoming and warm This place was more than we expected in every way. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return. What a great stay we had at Betty's on Bass. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Morten response time was excellent throughout. The location was perfect with beautiful peaceful surroundings. Sitting on the deck was blissful. We will most definitely recommend this place.

Chanel and Wendy have always been very friendly and totally helpful. We had a wonderful stay out there. Kommetjie is a perfect location between all the natural beauties south and the laidback and cool bars, restaurants and markets around Noordhoek. Lots of good waves all around you so you are pretty flexible with different winds :) Thanks a lot

What a wonderful experience! The cottage was so homely and peaceful, beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. You can definitely see the artist’s touch in Zelda’s work. We loved our stay at Casa de Praia! Fantastic place to visit if you want to get away for some surf or hiking in cape point. A great spot to go away with kids. Would highly recommend!
