Nick & I absolutely loved our stay at Dave’s Milk Barn. It was charming, adorable, cozy, and gave us exactly what we needed for a respite from the city. Rio & Toby were incredibly flexible, kind, accommodating and helpful. Beautiful surroundings, adorable quaint rustic accommodation. We couldn’t give this place enough positive marks! Will definitely be coming back.

We spent several lovely days at Amethyst Farm. Bernard was an excellent host, very communicative but still offering privacy. The space was clean, charming, and comfortable. I loved hanging out with the chickens, who were very chill and cute (and produced great eggs).

Fantastic space for a large group. We had 10 people for a New Year’s Eve ski weekend, and this was the ideal spot for it. Hot tub was a great treat. Be warned - the floors are squeaky, so if you’re a light sleeper in a large group bring ear plugs.

This is a wonderful AirBnb with gracious hosts. Even if your flight is delayed and you arrive in the middle of the night, expect a warm welcome. We had a short stay, but still found time for our daughter to meet some of the farm animals. She loved it. If you’re looking for a quiet spot, with some lovely hosts, this is a fantastic option.

We recently enjoyed a lovely stay at The Carriage Barn in Guilford. Our host, Katherine, was very responsive to everything we might have needed during our visit: a very easy check in and out process, detailed instructions on how everything worked, items for our comfort (a gift of delicious chocolates, many fluffy towels, silky sheets, etc.), and was easily available via texting. The photos of her restored historic barn are very accurate - it's a beautifully designed renovation and is decorated with lovely art pieces, cozy furniture, and a huge library of books for your enjoyment. The tv works great and so does the WiFii. We traveled with our small dog and there is a baby gate available that easily snaps onto the staircase posts so I was not concerned about my dog's safety.. Best of all is the beautiful views of the gorgeous Vermont countryside. You'll see lovely sunsets here and spectacular sunrises. It's a great spot to truly relax.

Great getaway and tranquil place to retreat! Would definitely book again. Enjoyed the atmosphere.

The other reviews are spot on. This place is lovely. The house looks and smells fantastic. The town is very close by and Richard is a great host. Everything was exactly as desired and very cozy. We were even treated to a winter snow storm which made the place even more magical. Would love to return in the future!

I highly recommend this property. Beautiful country setting yet convenient to the city. This is probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in and had the best equipped kitchen for those wishing to cook. Thomas was very responsive and professional.

It was a lovely stay, we loved all the decor and little extras Sara added. Meeting the calves was so sweet and we also enjoyed shopping at the farm stand. I would definitely go back and would recommend to others.

This is a gorgeous, relaxing escape with so much loving care and delightful detail inside and out. Super clean and comfortable—we loved the gardens, grounds and the peace and quiet. We had such a lovely weekend.

This is an incredibly special place to stay and perfect for a fun family weekend away!! It is an old-school Airbnb in the sense that the hosts are genuine people who want to share their beloved, fascinating space with others. Michael and Jody went above and beyond to make us feel welcome on their unique property. The shipping container house is awesome, very comfortable, and has everything you need. They provide so many thoughtful touches (coffee, games, plenty of towels, laundry detergent) and are very proactive with helpful texts with local recommendations. You can feel the powerful history of the land as you walk around beneath tall trees. Michael was so kind and generous with my two young kids, taking us around the property and into the greenhouse, pulling from his vast experiences to engage them, and he even got my son to eat microgreens! We were delighted by the experience! There are hikes nearby too—Ashokan Quarry Trail is perfect for kids—and lots of great restaurants around.

The cabin exceeded all our expectations! It had everything we needed to feel at home, and the farm and trail behind the house is well worth exploring.

Had the time of my life here! I recommend to anyone who loves animals or just needs a change of pace. I definitely plan on returning!

Wow, just wow. I don’t even know where to start, this was my favorite Airbnb ever. Six stars🌟! From the friendly goats and ducks roaming around, to the dogs that followed me on a hike, to the at home sauna, to the kind hosts… even the backyard was a hiking trail! The home had every kitchen appliance I needed to cook anything (and I love cooking, by the way), and the peaceful environment was everything I needed for a proper getaway. Let’s make it seven stars🌟, lol. If you love animals and nature, you’ll definitely love this place. Thank you Trudy and Kim for sharing your space, it’s greatly appreciated ✨💜🙏🏿🫂. From the time of booking the hosts were great with communication. Check in went smoothly and the home comfortably fit our group. If visiting the area for NY Sheep and Wool this home is a continent location.

Incredible stay. The house is immaculate - beautifully decorated, furnished, and spacious (house had tons of holiday decorations, very cozy!!). This was one of the best stocked rentals I've stayed at - kitchen and bathrooms have everything you could possibly need. Accommodated 2 families very comfortably; beds were comfortable. Loved that the great room was separated from the rest of the bedrooms allowing the family to gather without disturbing napping babies. Lots of yard space, situated next to a picturesque creek. And excellent central location to Hudson, Catskill, and skiing. Host goes above and beyond - offered early check in, extremely responsive. Highly recommend!!

We loved John & Anne’s place. It was cozy, warm and perfect for our getaway. We appreciated the responsiveness, ease of communication and clear, easy to follow instructions. The fireplace, hot tub and all the extra touches with the local treats made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back!

What a lovely find! Gregory was a wonderful host. The place was spotless and cozy, and the farm fresh eggs were such a wonderful nice touch. We relocated away from the area, and this was right in the middle of everyone we wanted to visit this trip. Will definitely be starting here on our future visits!!
