The Whangaroa Barn – Epic Harbour Views

Set on 2.5 acres at the gateway to St Paul's Rock — one of New Zealand's best short hikes — this cedar-shingled barn overlooks Whangaroa Harbour in the Bay of Islands region, named in Lonely Planet's Best in Travel 2026. Renovated late 2025: queen bed, 2 sofa beds, full kitchen, fireplace, high-speed WiFi, and a dedicated workspace. Hidden inside native bush is our glamping hut named 'the syrah shack', which is nestled behind our syrah vines. The location is 10 minutes out of Russell township, in the Bay of Islands. You will have a vineyard, cellar door and eatery 1km from the hut. Escape your worries and get off the grid in our eco retreat. Enjoy the luxury of a super king bed and the serenity of an outdoor camping style kitchen, hot shower, composting toilet and the best bit is an outdoor bath for two!!

Top House - unrivalled views and privacy

The Top House, so named because of its location, with 270 degree views, has unrivalled privacy, and it's own helipad. This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. The house has been finished to a high standard, with excellent amenities, including hot tub with amazing views, outdoor dining and lounge spaces on 360 degree decks, WiFi, two TVs, heaps of parking, modern kitchen and luxury bathrooms, and comfortable stylish furniture throughout.

Whangaroa Magic! Fantastic views!

Beautiful Whangaroa Harbour. This Bach has stunning views over and down the harbour from the full front of the house and decks. Just 10 mins to Tauranga Bay beach. Great to relax or go fishing or head to a beach for the day. Whangaroa is s small village with a general store, game fishing club and pub. Great food at the club or pub.. Peaceful, tranquil and a nice escape from busy life.. My place is good for couples, families and furry friends (pets).

Rustic Bush Retreat

Tranquil and private, a beautiful Macrocapa post and beam house overlooking the gorgeous Kerikeri Inlet. A haven for relaxation surrounded by native birds, including kiwis, tuis, fantails and wood pigeons, all living on the property. Enjoy a wine on the veranda and watch the boats go by or take a swim at Opito bay- just 5 minutes away. Plenty of room to park the boat plus two launching ramps, a ski lane and some of the best fishing NZ has to offer!

A peaceful rural rustic space to retreat and relax yet minutes from town amenities and the main Northland route. Nestled in the grounds of a 9 acre property half-way along a country cul-de-sac and taking up two thirds of a converted mid-century milking shed building the Cottage is cosy, comfy and self-contained, characterised by quirky charm and surrounded by gardens and birdsong. Easy access, no check-in required.

Kanuka Loft - Come and relax

This is the perfect private holiday retreat. Set amongst the bush clad slopes of the Te Wahapu Peninsula, with no close neighbors, adjacent to an expansive bush reserve with abundant bird life and only 7 km from the historic Russell Township. Kanuka Loft is a very quiet, peaceful space. A great place to come and do nothing, yet with all the Bay of Islands has to offer at hand.

Waterfront historic Bakery cottage

Located on the shores of the tranquil Mangonui harbour with Doubtless Bay beaches very close by. She (the cottage) is cute and eclectic with spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the view and location. Its a short walk to Mangonui village shops and cafes. The covered courtyard at the rear of the property is private, furnished and with a Weber BBQ to enjoy outdoor dining.
