There is a private office space on the first floor. Up a flight of stairs is a private modern bathroom, studio style open floor plan with spacious bedroom with a full bed and a daybed, a fully equipped kitchen and den with ample seating. Off the den is a spacious, private deck with seating.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is the most wonderful feature of The Franklin Guest House! The guest house is about a 2 minute walk to Main Street. Our home is next door, and when my children were quite young; they were allowed to go to the shopping/dining area of Franklin by themselves. (Back then you could buy fried rice for 99 cents, plus Gray's Drugstore had penny candy!) Such a sweet place to raise a family! Even though stores have changed, the LOCATION is the same!

Our very cool one bedroom apartment (950 sf) is above our 3 car garage. Our home is a 5 acre farm with chickens, sheep and gardens. If you come in the summer you can pick your own blueberries. There is a beautiful patio with a fireplace where is a pleasure to just seat and drink your coffee or a glass of wine. We really have the best of both worlds; peacefulness of country with the convenience of town!
