The Upper Room

Enjoy a peaceful stay in the country, above the garage in our guest suite surrounded by fields of corn and soybeans. Décor of vintage airplanes and air travel fill the guest room.. Awaken to the sounds of abundant birds singing. In the evening, you can relax around the firepit. The suite was finished with repurposed barnboards, tin siding, and the old workbench was transformed to a bar countertop. An enclosed breezeway connects to the main house where the owners reside.

Home boosts large main level deck and lower level deck to enjoy the outside. Sit by the river and enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing or swimming. The Oak Tree Lodge is located in a country setting and offers a private lodge with an outdoor area for relaxing and entertaining. The former barn structure has been beautifully transformed in a rustic and comfortable lodge to rest, relax, and renew. We have renewed it into a fresh new life - as a lodge to invite friends and guests to enjoy and relax. The listed rate is for four people, and additional quests will be $25.00 per person.

The Grand Pause Farm invites you to stay at our barn, overlooking 40 acres of a stress free environment, complete with ponds, wildlife, and beautiful sunsets . You will be in the country, and our cozy, quiet cabin can be enjoyed by the whole family. You can visit local parks and shopping at area stores. Due to COVID-19 we have blocked weekdays. This house is located in the country- a few neighbors nearby, a quiet setting, and you may encounter some wildlife. Please be aware you are not in a big city, some resources will be limited.
