A few miles away is Montgomery Woods, a pristine redwood grove. Worthy day trips include Mendocino Village, Anderson Valley's wine country and Hopland. FOODIES: Longview’s open kitchen, two 8 person tables (one indoor, one outdoor) and private setting make it well-suited for intimate gatherings around cooking and dining together. A collection of Heath dinnerware - Sausalito's celebrated mid-century ceramics - ensures feasting in modern style. A picnic lunch on one of the property's scenic outlooks is also highly recommended.
