Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex's place and highly recommend it! - Spacious, clean, well-maintained 2nd floor unit. Appreciated the balconies with view of water, bonus room with workspace, daybed and cozy electric fireplace, new full bath with nice washer/dryer, large TV, and plenty of parking for 2+ vehicles. - Family & pet friendly. - Safe, pleasant neighborhood with a local feel. Close to the beach sidewalk that stretched for miles from Winthrop Beach to Deer Island–great for scenic walks, scootering, dog walking, and beach combing. Playgrounds, parks and restaurants within walking distance. - Minor notes: Located near the airport flyover route, although we weren't bothered by the air traffic noise–it was more like the sound of the waves that came and went. We never heard the 1st floor guests and had separate entrances. - Excellent communication with the host.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this beautiful little spot is! We felt so cared for and welcomed, and truly they thought of everything. We had an amazing visit to Boston, and spent mornings in Salem and Marblehead, which was such a perfect New England town. We would recommend and would certainly stay again if given the chance! Absolutely wonderful hosts!

We had a wonderful time in Somerset. Linda’s place is amazingly clean. Had everything we needed. Loved the view! I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was even nicer than I expected and being able to walk to good harbor beach every day with our dog was amazing. Everything was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was in great condition. Would love to stay there again sometime when it is warm out to enjoy the rest the area has to offer!

We absolutely loved Peter and Sally’s house, especially the front porch. We spent all of our time out there watching the world go by and taking in the beautiful view of the water. The house was clean and incredibly well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. The beds were comfortable and the living room was great for family movie nights. The little beach across the road was perfect for our quicker beach trips (we have an 11 month old). I was worried about noise from the road but traffic really dies down at night and we hardly noticed it during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would stay here again!

We had the best time in Arlington this past week! We came for the Boston marathon. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. It was close to Boston but far enough out for the peace and quiet. Doug and Hope were the most exceptional hosts. They were accommodating and very responsive. They went above and beyond to make our stay and everything we needed as easy as possible. They were so great and we hope to come back in the future!!

Hayley's cozy house is beautifully furnished with lots of accommodations for space, making sure everything you need is available. The fenced back yard with astroturf (!) was perfect for our little dog. The walk into Old Town is five minutes to all the shops, restaurants and the waterfront. Really a lovely, quiet spot.

Christian was very responsive. The place was perfect for 3 adults (one couple) and 1 toddler. It was quiet and a nice walkable neighborhood. It's a 2 or 3 minute drive to a really good restaurant. Going to the beach really depends on the time of day. When we arrived the water was splashing up against the retaining wall. We did stay in October though --the seasons do vary. And lastly, the price was one of the best in the surrounding area.

It was exactly what my family was looking for. It was relaxing and private. It allowed us to not feel cramped like a hotel stay, but allowed us to cook and enjoy the relaxing day. If you have a small kid, the golf cart is a must!

We had a great time staying here. It was raining our entire stay but the closed in porch area allowed us to still feel like we were on vacation and enjoy the view of the harbor.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect place for families with children. So close to the beach with all the beach and home necessities you need while on vacation! Quaint town that was quiet but still has plenty of restaurants to visit. Overall, a great place!

We stayed here for the pool for the kids (which was open, some recent reviews said it had been closed) and the beach access. Rooms seem new and it was quiet. You can find free parking right in front or pretty close around the beach.

The property was stunning and impeccably clean, matching the description perfectly. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the convenient location with a trail to see horses and access to the lake. The host was incredibly accommodating, and we are looking forward to returning with our family. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide garage access to the house for elderly guests who may have difficulty with stairs, as the pathway, although beautiful, was quite lengthy for my elderly parents. Nonetheless, we all had a fantastic time. Thank you.

The host was very responsive and helpful. The hotel was very nice. It was clean, decorated nicely, looked recently updated and right across the street from the beach. We went off season so not a lot going in the area but there were a few restaurants that we went to close by. I would recommend staying there and it was a little over an hour away from Logan airport.

We had a great stay at the house. The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning. Great location, close to everything. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms had plenty of linens and toiletries. Access was very simple and easy. Would love to stay again someday!

On The Rocks is such a beautiful place. The views were just spectacular (sunset and sunrise). Everything was extremely clean and well stocked. The location is perfect. We would definitely stay here again. 5 starts across the board 4 stars on the price because Airbnb seems to be increasing their rates every time we use their services.

We had an incredible stay at Mike's house! The location was perfect, just a stone's throw from Salem, with a wealth of historical sites to explore nearby. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home. Mike and his wife were outstanding hosts, always available to help with any questions or issues we encountered. Their friendliness and hospitality truly enhanced our experience. Our visit coincided with Halloween, and it was simply magical. The house, combined with the festive spirit of the season, made for the best Halloween experience we've ever had. We can’t wait to return and create more memories at Mike's place! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming getaway.

This cozy space in a beautiful coastal neighborhood was perfect for a 1-night stay for myself, my husband, and our two dogs. Hosts were friendly and easy to work with. We found everything we needed.

We were looking for a comfy home for a Springtime coastal family gathering. Harry’s welcoming house was perfect. We gathered comfortably for meals, visits, laughter, stories & music too. We enjoyed our multiple beach walks & strolls to Powder Point Bridge surrounded by springtime bird song and sightings… sandpiper convention & Osprey were favorites. Best restaurants (so far) are Liv’s Creative Cuisine Winsor House Mama Mia’s French Memories Bakery We’ll be back.. Thanks Harry❣️

We felt instantly happy with our choice to book with Danielle & Matt. Danielle was so great with communication during our stay. You can tell a lot of attention to detail went in to setting up this Airbnb. Super clean space with a very comfortable bed. Anything you might have forgot to pack for your trip ( razors, melatonin, hairdryer) was easily assessed. I will say the only hang up we had was trying to put our son down for a nap, if your toddlers needs a completely dark room during the early afternoon it could be hard to get them down due to the sheer curtains Besides that we highly recommend booking!

Great place for our family who was attending a wedding right down the road. Beautiful location right on the marsh and a minute walk to the beach. Overall a great stay that I would highly recommend.

We had a great stay! Friends and I stayed at Alex’s for a wedding which was the perfect location next to the hotel where the wedding was. Super convenient and walkable to downtown! Very responsive!
