The Mail House was a perfect couples getaway spot for us. Stephanie and Ben provided clear instructions for getting there and check-in, as well as a wonderful list of places to visit in the area. This was our first visit to the area, and it was a very central location to what we wanted to do. The Mail House is so quaint and had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying at The Mail House!

We had an amazing stay at Wild at Heart! The cozy cabin was just what we needed to relax. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. We loved sitting on the deck having breakfast and by the fire at night. Great place to get away!

Caytie was a very responsive, flexible, and understanding host! She did everything she could to ensure a great stay for my group and we couldn’t be more grateful. Omgggg the inside was *absolutely beautiful* .. the view was amazing! We got in later than expected and the owners had a charcuterie board w/chocolate covered strawberries and drinks waiting for us and that definitely hit the spot after our long drive. SoOoOo thankful for the hospitality… Now I could barely get to sleep because I ended up getting numerous times to walk around the inside of the house and gaze in amazement of how beautiful the inside was. Just sitting on the couch and looking around brought us the escape and cozy peace that we needed from our every day busy life. It’s very obvious that the home has shared many loving and special moments & that the owners would share their special place with us. The breakfast was home made with love and my husband keeps raving about it.. I’m not gonna lie, lol I’m a little jealous and know that I need to step up my breakfast making game! Thank you for making our vacation extra special with the sweet extras that you did for us.

Lindsey is a fantastic host. She communicated well, gave us some information about the area and even offered us a late checkout. Great location for climbing at PMRP. Great house with everything you need.

A change in plans led us to go out of town for Thanksgiving this year. We were looking for a homey place to celebrate and relax, and loved the proximity of this airbnb to Red River Gorge. It was private and beautiful, and was even nicer than the photos made it look. There was plenty of room, a stocked kitchen (pots and pans and basic spices: salt and pepper etc) that made cooking a simple Thanksgiving dinner easy. We loved the open kitchen/living room space so that we could spend time with family while watching football and cooking. I even took a kayak out on Thanksgiving morning! It was a little chilly while we were there, but imagine the deck and pond would be incredible with warmer temperatures. There were tons of towels, blankets, shower items and a hairdryer. The appliances all worked great. We did a lot of hiking while in the area and Wyatt & Savannah's place was an amazing retreat.

Our family had a great time celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was great and close to red river gorge attractions. Sadly the cold weather caused the goats to be moved to their winter home. Sorry to miss the goat fun. Tracy was great to work with from the planning phase and through our stay.

Sunny's place makes a great basecamp for a weekend or month long climbing trip at the Red. You can't beat an airbnb with it's own small but packed climbing gym. Of all my airbnb stays, Sunny's friendly personality stands out above all the other airbnb hosts that I have met. I am not taking anything away from other hosts, it is just that Sunny really made us feel like distant family and that he was genuinely glad to see us arrive. We certainly will stay again and I highly recommend his place to any adventurous and down to earth people looking to stay in the area.

The Lady Slipper apartment was the perfect base for all of my hiking adventures in the Red River Gorge...located right in the middle of it all. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay for myself and my dog.

My stay at Clifton’s place was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I booked, Clifton was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The check-in process was simple and seamless, which made arrival stress-free. The space itself was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I truly appreciated how attentive and communicative Clifton was throughout my stay, always quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a smooth, top-notch Airbnb experience. 5 stars all the way! We booked both Airbnb’s and it was seamless.

Awesome location for a climbing weekend - Will stay again :)

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!
