Moose and Mimis Temora

Moose and Mimis was built to accommodate our large, blended and ever growing family when they come to visit (hence the name!) The accommodation is contemporary and designed for comfort - we like to treat the children and created a resort feel. We are walking distance to main street (900m), across the road from both the information centre and Temora Rural Museum. A playground, pool area and BBQ are all available for guests to use. There is a farm stay feel as well with a variety of 'pets' here.

Centrally located, The Station Masters Cottage offers a private quiet stay right in Young. An easy level walk to the main street cafes, dining, pubs etc; a few minutes walk to parks, pool, medical centers and 5 minutes by car to the beautiful Chinese Gardens. The cottage is renovated and comfortable and super clean. Stylishly furnished with 3 comfy double beds, spacious living, alfresco dining, full kitchen; full bathroom with sep toilet. Perfect for family, couples, or girls weekend escapes'

Canberra large self-contained annexe

Guests will have their own entrance that opens up to a sun-filled, modern room-ensuite with a fully equipped private kitchen that overlooks our landscaped courtyard. All amenities in the room are new and please treat this facility as your own. The place is geographically central to all of the Canberra's attractions and most of the Governemt offices, just 10 minutes to the city, Belconnen, Barton, Kingston and Woden. Public transport available from top of the road. Street parking available.

Nestled in the middle of a working cattle and horse farm in the Yass Valley, The Barlow Tiny House is the ideal place to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature. Tuckerbox Tiny is located in Gundagai only a few minutes drive from Hume Freeway. It is perfect for a romantic/family getaway or as a quiet and peaceful break on your road trip. Ideally located just out of town, Tuckerbox Tiny is surrounded hills, overlooks Morley’s Creek and picturesque farmland. It feels like a private country retreat but is only 2km to the Main Street, where you can enjoy breakfast at fantastic cafe’s, bakery, museums, antique shops, Carberry Park, supermarket, etc

A & T Orchard

Quiet little cottage located about 20 mins out of Young, get away from your everyday hustle and bustle and enjoy a relaxing farm stay on a peaceful plum and cherry orchard, you can watch the cherry blossoms when they are in bloom or just sit back and relax on the back porch with a bottle of your favourite and watch the awesome sunset views. Sleeps approximately 6 people, price is $230 for up to 6 persons per night, though there is a surcharge of $10 per night for any extra persons

Besties Cottage

Besties Cottage combines the delightful charm of a lovingly restored country cottage, with the modern touches required for a comfortable stay. The Cottage is just 4 hours from Sydney, 90 minutes from Canberra, and only 30 minutes off the Hume Highway. You will be able to enjoy the peace and quiet offered by a rural community in a convenient location. Within a 10 minute walk you will find pubs, cafes, a supermarket, and our scenic silos. Kames - Cottages 1

Kames Cottages provides a peaceful secluded rural Setting close enough to the township of Temora but offers an outback getaway. Two Self contained cottages with reverse cycle air conditioning, two bedrooms, queen bed plus double/single bunk. linen is provided, barbeque facilities and pool are available. We are happy to have pets but there are house rules for them. Positioned 6 klms from the township of Temora and also close to the Temora Aviation Museum and Temora Lake Centenary.

Separate, Comfortable, Functional, Stargazing.

Hideaway in Wamboin. 15 minutes to Queanbeyan or Bungendore, close to wineries. Comfortable, private and separate studio unit (donga) with queen bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. Tea's and Coffees available. Stargazing on clear nights, peace and quiet. This is a small space that is not suitable for long term rental. Note: after numerous suggestions as to temperature control, I have now installed reverse cycle air conditioning. Nearest shops are in Queanbeyan (15mins away)

The Old Stone Shed, Historic Country farm stay

Located 1hr 40min from Canberra, 3.5hrs from Sydney & 10mins from Harden/Murrumburrah this farm stay is a uniquely renovated granite stone shed, built in the 1880s as a stable which takes full advantage of the beautiful surrounding countryside. It is fitted with all mod cons with lots of space inside and out. Stroll down a country road, sit on the raised deck with a glass of red watching the sun set. Enjoy the wildlife and farming life.
