Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

We have central hydronic heating but the 2 large open fireplaces are a real feature of the cottage. We are regularly visited by kangaroos, kookaburras and other native wildlife. Fur kids are entirely welcome and we have a secure area with a large kennel if you want to leave them while you explore the delights of Daylesford.

The house was built around the turn of last century and originally used as a 'lying-in' maternity hospital before the local hospital was built in the 1930s. This beautiful piece of Trentham's history has been restored and updated with lots of modern features including a coffee machine and grinder for the home barista, unlimited NBN and 2 wood fires for cosy winter nights.
