Long Barn is a newly renovated apartment on a private countryside estate, set in an AONB in some of England’s most beautiful countryside. It is situated on a quiet country lane on the edge of Winterbourne, yet within easy reach of the M4 & A34 and the local market towns of Newbury and Hungerford, with good links to Oxford, Reading and Swindon. London is only 42 mins by train. We are lucky to have several superb restaurants, charming country pubs, and a local farm shop all within just 3 miles.

The Pottery Barn

This is a self contained annex above a double garage (please note low roof angles in places) with an independent door. It has one king size bed with some seating and a TV and dinning table. There is a small kitchenette including a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The ensuite has a basic electric shower and usual amenities. There is internet available. If you would like to bring a child please contact us before to check if suitable. There is parking on the main road or opposite in a Close.

It is within easy reach of the A34 and M4, and the local market towns of Newbury, Wantage and Hungerford. The nearest pub for good food and a drink is a short walk away and the local farm shop is close by.

From the Michelin-starred Woodspeen to Hungerford's antique shops there's plenty to do and see with wonderful walking and cycling on the doorstep. The village's popular new restaurant, The Boxford, is a 4-minute walk.

Manstone Cottage, Yattendon

Situated just outside the picturesque village of Yattendon, Manstone Cottage is surrounded by beautiful views of rolling country side. Spacious and elegantly furnished, with private parking the cottage is the ideal get away for couples, families or small groups. Within walking distance of the village with it's fantastic pub, shop, cafe, brewery and beauty salon you won't have much need to go far but it's also well situated for access to Newbury, Hungerford, Goring, Pangbourne and Henley.

Set on a former dairy farm, on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, The Hay Loft is a recently converted first floor studio flat finished to a superb standard. With views of Watership Down, The Hay Loft is off a quiet country lane leading directly into the Greenham Common nature reserve; it offers a very restful, rural retreat. The River Kennet runs through the grounds leading to the canal and towpaths making visiting Hungerford and Newbury a pleasure by foot or bicycle. Fantastic rail routes from Newbury / only 50 minutes from London.

A lovely self-contained annex furnished to a high standard in a quiet rural location on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, close to Newbury and Oxford and walking distance to Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). Fenced secluded garden area with seating and BBQ for outdoor dining. The Annex is completely separate from our house with its own entrance and there's an allocated parking space for one car. Well behaved dogs are always welcome and there are some lovely walks on our doorstep.

There are a variety of places to eat close by ranging from cosy pubs to fine dining restaurants. Vine Annex sleeps 4 one king sized double, one single and one small single in twin room.
