Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

Chapel Cottage, Distington on the edge of the Lake District in Cumbria. Built in 1838, originally an outbuilding for a Methodist Chapel which has undergone a full renovation and conversion into a quirky 1 bedroom house which is filled with amazing features and full of character! A modern take on a historic building, keeping some of the original heritage but with a modern contemporary feel! The ideal getaway location for a relaxed break near the lakes, with local amenities. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
