In 2019 my husband and I set out to renovate this old pool house into a self-sustainable apartment or tiny home in our backyard. As you can imagine… things did not turn out the way we intended and construction was completed in the fall of 2020! The amenities are not lacking within the space and we know you will feel at home!

The Amberg House - a Frank Lloyd Wright Original

Staying in a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is a bucket list item for fans of America's most acclaimed architect. The Amberg House was completed in 1911 at the pinnacle of Wright's Prairie Style influence. Though every Wright home is special, the Amberg House is a unique collaboration between Wright and Marion Mahony. Mahony worked with Wright from 1896 until 1909. Home Away from Home for groups and families

Comfortable Grandville Home away from home with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. No shared spaces. 55” flat screen tv, outdoor space and driveway parking. This desirable location is close to downtown Grand Rapids or Holland via easy 15-minute drives on I-196. Grandville offers, parks, trails, restaurants & shopping within walking distance. The closest beach is about 10 minutes away and Lake Michigan is a quick 20 minute drive.

Hidden in the woods

Quiet, country setting that comfortably accommodates two. This space is above our garage, which is not attached to our house. We are often outside working or playing, but it is very private once you are upstairs! There is no WiFi here. There is a lovely, private balcony with a nice view, lots of random movies, and several fun games. Verizon service works great here, so if you have a Hotspot you could hook up to our smart TV.

Lakefront Bungalow, Boat & Bunkhouse in the Woods
