We enjoyed our stay at Rick's place and had to book last minute due to a power outage at home. The place was cozy and perfect for our group of 2 kiddos and 5 adults along with 2 well behaved dogs. The home had lots of great activities and plenty of items for entertaining if we wanted to stay in and close to other places to explore if we wanted to go out.

Ginnie Joe was responsive and gave great recommendations. Also the Jacuzzi was on arrival and great view at night.

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing weekend at Lorri’s place. We loved that this location was outside of the town on a dead end street. Lorri’s loft had everything (and more!) that we like to have in a rental. We really appreciated the extremely well stocked kitchen: coffee, teas, cocoa and creamer; lots of spices, cooking oil, and lots of other staples. The hot tub and patio were lovely. Last but not least, the beds were super comfortable! Highly recommend this place.

The place is amazing and you can’t beat the location! The heart of downtown Roslyn is right around the corner. The house is beautiful and was immaculately clean when we arrived. It had everything you’d need to feel at home. Chelsea was extremely helpful providing local activities and recommendations. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the place!

Fantastic getaway location that offered tremendous privacy. Extremely spacious house that was even bigger than the pictures made it look. House had everything we needed from plenty of towels to soap/spices/basic amenities. For those coming in the winter months, be aware that the drive up is extremely steep and I would highly recommend 4 wheel drive if there is snow or ice. Rita was extremely proactive and responsive with her communication! Definitely worth the stay for a small group looking for a peaceful place to escape.

Aaron and his team were amazing hosts, very attentive and left me a sweet note upon arrival. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and such the perfect getaway, I couldn't recommend it enough!

Absolutely loved our stay! Highly recommend the house, location, and host. Seeing snow capped mountains, from the hot tub, under starlight was such a bonus and a trip highlight.

Wonderful place and very comfortable which was a huge plus given the rain episodes. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all our meals there easily. Our host was very generous with supplies. We hope to be back.

The location was convenient to all of the places we were kayaking. When my friends and I travel, we often prefer to cook at home and Bruce 's kitchen had everything we needed to grill and bake. The ninja bullet and food scale were appreciated!

Talia is a FABULOUS host. She is very honest, helpful, and very blunt about her listings to ensure nothing is sugar coated. Her instructions were easy to read, her kindness was palpable, and her location was absolutely soul-reviving for myself and my equally outdoorsy bestie. Loved the whimsical and beautiful location. Truly in my top 10 memories now with the weekend we had there. And we were even caught in a storm! Loved it. Can’t say enough great things about the experience or the host. Thank you Talia!

The unit worked well for our stay in Yakima. The unit was clean and the kitchen well stocked with pans, dishware, etc.

We had a rabbit show up in the front yard on Easter morning! Such a beautiful and well-stocked house. The beds are incredibly comfortable with an abundance of pillows and warm comforters. The couch and ottoman were so welcoming! And the views from the 'Birds Nest' room at the top are gorgeous. We played 'Cranium' and had great meals at the large dining table, a super special visit! We loved Kurt and Summyr's pretty home and felt so welcome. Hope to come back whenever we come to White Salmon to visit family. John and Eleanor

We’ve been to WMR, many times. Just 1 hour from busy Portland life, we love to escape here. The property is pristinely kept, uber peaceful, and the cabins are so quaint! We’ll be back time and time again.

Peaceful neighborhood. Lots of games / entertainment options at the property. Proximity to Cle Elum lake and Suncadia resort. We enjoyed the sauna placed in the backyard.

An incredible gem. My new go-to in Yakima. The view is amazing--the pictures don't do it justice. The space has all the mod-conveniences, yet is also rustic and with alot of character. The larger compound is full of flora and fauna (quail frolic outside the large picture windows) of which the Chris and Bonnie invite you to enjoy. The hot tub has the same sweeping view as the unit, and the pool area is nicely taken care of and is of resort caliber. Location is close to Yakima (less than 7-8 minutes to nearest large grocery store) but very much feels countryside. The amazing rock formation behind the compound (visible from the large private deck and from inside the unit) is amazing to see in the morning at sunrise--reminds me of the Redrocks ampitheater in Colorado. Chris and Bonnie--warm, inviting, fun, and engaged with their guests (if you want them to be)--you can tell they really like hosting people in their happy Yakima-adjacent universe.

The house was beautiful and even better than we expected. The hot tub was amazing even in the snow and the river view from the deck was majestic. There was plenty of room for the family, lots for us to do together and just a short drive to the pass for some fun in the snow. Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and how thoughtfully everything was designed to accommodate everyone in our group. The place was spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. Whether we were enjoying morning coffee on the deck with breathtaking views or cozying up by the fireplace in the evening, every moment felt magical. The property offers the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and modern comfort. The attention to detail in every corner of the cabin truly sets this place apart. We can’t recommend it enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We recently spent a weekend at this charming cabin in Packwood, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. From the moment we walked in, it felt cozy and inviting, with beautiful rustic touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. Every amenity we needed was already there—kitchen supplies, comfortable bedding, and a great living space to relax in after a day of skiing. The setting itself was peaceful and scenic, and we only wish we could have extended our stay. We’re already looking forward to booking this cabin again the next time we’re in the area!

This is the 3rd year I’ve stayed here for my anniversary weekend. It’s a nice peaceful reset. ❤️

Steve & Peggy's home in Matawa was neat, clean and uncluttered and easy to settle into. The three bedrooms are spacious, there's a larger central area open to the kitchen. Easy to park in the garage. A nice view of the river from the home. We didn't cook but the coffee pot was perfect! A short walk away is access to the Priest Rapids Recreation Area. There is a level trail along the river. We walked this both days we were there. Nice walk, birding opportunity and easy exercise. If you go north, the trail is paved. Going south the trail becomes gravel. Both directions are good. Communication was great, emails questions were answered promptly, and we had check in information a few days ahead. We left a pair of shoes, and Steve and Peggy have been great arranging a way for us to pick them up. Very kind and easily arranged. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend this listing.
