This place was nothing short of amazing. The photos did not do it justice, as soon as we opened the door we were impressed. The room was immaculate, the bed and linen was great quality and the room smelt amazing. We enjoyed a wine tasting where we were easily able to walk back to our room, there was also a picnic basket that we took out and enjoyed some wine while still being at the vineyard. I would stay here again and certainly would recommend it to anyone who is looking to enjoy a peaceful environment.

Louisa and Jim’s pod was a joy to stay in—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with all the creature comforts. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and communication was seamless. Just a short walk to the beach, and they were warm and welcoming throughout. Thank you for having me!

We LOVED our stay at Jessica's beautiful cottage. We felt like we had just stepped into a little cottage in France. It is so tastefully decorated, with quality furnishings and very comfortable. It was warm and the open fire was a nice treat. It was also in a great location and she had great some tips for us regarding dining and activities close by, There were lots of little personal touches including complimentary biscuits, chocolate, tea and coffee, milk and cereal for breakfast. Jessica was really helpful, polite and friendly. We can't recommend her gorgeous little cottage enough. Can't wait to return.

Susan's place was exactly what we were looking for for a weekend getaway from Melbourne. It's close enough for an easy drive, lovely scenery, and a very comfortable place to stay. Lancefield was the closest town which had all of the the food and restaurant options we could use. The bed was fantastic, and there were extra blankets, towels, and enough cutlery and crockery for a couple of people on a weekend away. We had tea, coffee, and very kindly some fruit and biscuits for us on arrival which made it feel right at home. The property is listed as pet friendly, and it's so well organised for the pup that we had everything at hand that we needed including towels to keep her dry when it was raining outside. The hot tub was great, and although the weather wasn't fantastic, it was lovely to spend the evening in. I could go on, but if you're reading this, and need a short stay away in the country this is the place to be.

Beautiful location that we and our dog loved. So peaceful and relaxing - the perfect way to escape the city for a couple of days. And the cottage itself was super cute but had everything we needed.

Great stay, short drive to the beach. Spa and sauna were easy to use with clear instructions from Paul on how to use both. Complete privacy separate the main house to the back where the bungalow is Would definitely come back again :)

Such a fab little cabin and location! Everything you need for a relaxing stay and the property itself is so much fun for kids (and adults)! Our kids absolutely loved the basketball court, the trampoline and swimming pool & spa. Peter was very friendly and switched on the hot tub for me. The grounds and cabin itself are kept really well. The beds are comfy, the split ac/heater works quickly and the kitchen has all the latest appliances to ensure you have an easy stay. Would definitely recommend and return!

We had such a fantastic stay at Trish & Ian's place! The place was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The little touches and attention to detail really made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect too—quiet, convenient, and close to everything. Communication was easy and responsive throughout. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in Point Lonsdale!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was perfectly fitted with everything you need. Qe felt so at home and relaxed the whole time. Beautiful views no matter where you looked. The kitchen was well equipped, we whipped up a few lovely meals while eating on the balcony. Our daughter loved all the toys, games, swing and trampoline. We even got to see a wallaby! Loved staying at Rosie’s place. It was a perfect few days away from the city for me and my pup. Location is also great if you have a dog as there is a nice big backyard and a dog beach down the road. Easy to get around and explore. Rosie was also really great with her communication and recommendations. I hope to visit again sometime soon. Thanks Rosie!

We found Malcolm & Hanna's place a great place to recharge the batteries. Lots of greenery out the windows, clucking chickens gifting us daily fresh eggs, a cosy fire on a comfie couch... we were very happy, and most importantly Rosie our doggo was in heaven exploring the grounds and playing with resident doggos. Hosts were super responsive. Nice people with nice pets.

The most perfect weekend for two couples, the place had everything you needed, books, DVD’s, games, wood for the fire. Beautiful surroundings and nature walks everywhere, we drove 20 minutes to explore Mt Baw Baw which was great also. The bath was also a standout! With candles and bath salts, they have thought out so much and it’s a perfect place to relax and unwind, and the beautiful birds that visit the deck are so sweet to hear and see. Kitchen amenities are great, we cooked up all our meals together.

A beautiful estate loved the gardens & the cottage was adorable. We enjoyed our night with our dog who felt like a king! We will recommend and if we are in the area again will come back for longer! Thank you Sharnie we loved reading about the heritage of Craignair house.

I really enjoyed my stay and really appreciated the quiet serenity and privacy offered at Botanica Retreat. The gardens are beautiful offering a very peaceful setting and was exactly what I needed for my break. It’s very close to the village, close to walking paths and has everything you need. It’s very homey, beautifully appointed furniture, linens, decor etc, and Karen offers some really nice touches to make it feel like home. Will definitely be back!

This place is fantastic. Very peaceful set in a beautiful part of Broadford only 5 min drive into town. Plenty of heating and cooling in the cottage. Upon arrival Janis had left me fresh bread, milk and eggs. Would highly recommend.

Anna’s stay was a fantastic experience. The location is excellent and the lodging is extremely cosy. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are good enough that you don’t need to bring your own. Anna had set up the fire by the time we arrived in preparation for the cold the next day. The cabin is very close to the main house, although frosted windows on that wall and tree coverage create an effective screen.

Beautiful stay in a lovely area. Walking distance to local cafes, restaurants, groceries and Pilates/gym. We stayed just under two weeks whilst searching for a lease in the neighbourhood. Private area at the back of the property down a narrow driveway past the main residence, all good for an SUV. Host was very responsive and answered all questions regarding the amenities available. Wifi is fantastic for browsing capability. Probably not if you’re wanting to work from home and need heavy duty, but we ended up setting up a Starlink which worked great. Overall a wonderful transitional stay and would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time! The space was excellent, really well designed and self contained. It was really cosy and comfortable, with lots of light. It's also in a great location - not a far walk to the beach, cafes or supermarkets. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back!!

Staying with Keren and Gwyn was very relaxed and beautiful. They are very kind, helpful and accomodating. The kitchen is well equipped and breakfast food provided according to your needs. The garden in which one sits on the balcony is peaceful, and as I was there for more than 4 weeks I was permitted to use the washing machine and ironing board. It was nice chatting to Keren, when we happened to see each other, but each of us had their privacy too. I had a great time living there and am already considering to book again for next year.

We had a wonderful Weekend at this lovely cottage in Breamlea. The hamlet is so quiet and peaceful and the beach is a very short walk away. No need for the car once you get here. Alternatively, fantastic restaurants are a short 15 minute drive away in Torquay. The cottage is full of character and comfort for a wonderful stay at the beach. Would love to return

It really is a magical place, ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. In addition, it is close to Mount Buller, which is ideal for the snow season. On the other hand, the accommodation is perfect, even much more beautiful than in the photos. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it 100%.

Had a wonderful time. Awe inspiring views of the forest and mountains from the cottages private decking. Short drive to beautiful river walks. Very peaceful setting. Gunther was very friendly and responded quickly to messages. 30mbps wifi, 60 Mbps 4G phone reception. Would definitely recommend.
