This is a lovely 2-story apartment on the top floors of an historical townhouse that dates to the 1820s or 1830s. It is located on a quiet side street, about a 5-minute walk to the train station. There are 3 trains per hour connecting to Zurich, which takes 55-70 minutes. It is a 10 minute walk to either of 2 very good grocery stores, to a pleasant park, and to the Thermalbad, which is not to be missed. Spring through autumn, there is a small farmer's market held at the church plaza only 2 blocks from the house. It is a 10-12 minute walk to the banks of the Rhine River and a walking path. The apartment itself has everything one needs to have an espresso in the morning or to cook 3 meals a day. All of the appliances and furnishings are comfortable and fresh--there is a clean Scandinavian style. The 2 bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. The bed in the main bedroom is the most comfortable bed I have slept on in a very long time. The bathroom has modern fixtures, a luxurious soaking tub, and a large shower. The entrance brings you into a small, beautifully gardened courtyard and covered stairway to the apartment. There is a porch at the entrance with a table and chairs to enjoy the outdoors and view over terracotta rooftops to the hills beyond. This is a sweet haven with kind, available hosts, a place to enjoy the pace of a small town and amazing hot spring spa yet be close enough to Zurich to easily spend the day there as well. With a car, it's about a 30 minute drive to the airport and even to Zurich outside rush hours, but the train is so much calmer.

Mein Aufenthalt in diesem Airbnb war einfach großartig! Amer war unglaublich freundlich, stets gut erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft selbst war wunderschön, makellos sauber und in einer ruhigen, idyllischen Umgebung gelegen. Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Aufenthalt ich kann diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Franziska is a superhost in every sense of the word. Her apartment is modern, exactly as described. It is located in a quit, residential area, a little Swiss village, not far from Zürich. There is everything you might need for shorter and longer stays. The car park is right outside the apartment, very close to the accommodation and safe. The bed is comfortable, I really enjoyed a good night’s sleep. Communication with Franziska is as easy it can be, she is keen to help with a travelers small problems. She is a humorous and friendly person which makes the stay a pleasure. If you want to explore this part of Switzerland, this is the place to stay. Easy choice next time I will be around, very highly recommendable!
