Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place! It is an "apartment", but it's the only one in the building. The Suite sits above a winery in a pastoral setting outside of town. You can relax in your own living space with Internet, Internet TV, and Wi-FI. A fully equipped kitchen including a wine fridge are at your convenience. The bedroom has a king-sized bed with a TV, a phone charger, and lots of storage. The bathroom is super spacious with a full shower and includes a washer and dryer.

Trailside Inn is located in the central Iowa town of Madrid. We are a half-hour drive from Des Moines, Ames and Ankeny. Located one block from the nearest entrance to the High Trestle Trail, it is only a short 2 ½ mile ride to the famous High Trestle Trail Bridge. The guest accommodations provides a good starting point to explore scenic Boone County including Ledges State Park, Seven Oaks Recreation for skiing and river floats, and the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad for tourist train rides.

Family Farmhouse

Come enjoy the country in our 1 bedroom + loft guest house! We are just a few miles south of Boone. Just down the road is the ledges state park where you can go hiking or canoeing down the river. Seven oaks ski resort is a few miles away. Honey creek golf course is close as well as the Boone race track. We have everything you need to relax or hang out with friends and family. Wow! Penthouse style living on the 6th floor of the historic Boone National Building. Upscale furnishings and panoramic views of downtown Boone make this a destination all its own. Coin operated laundry, elevator, onsite management 8-5, M-F, video surveillance in common areas and semi secure building makes this place special! The city does not allow overnight parking on downtown streets, but there are two free well lit municipal lots each about a block from our building.

The whole house includes two main floor bedrooms with private baths, two upstairs bedrooms with a shared bathroom, an additional main floor bathroom. The house can sleep up to nine people. Infants staying in their parents’ rooms (in a pack and play you provide) don't count toward the nine person limit.
