Gorgeous views.  Convenient location. And spotless!   Phil’s place is simply fantastic.  The waterfront home looks out to the Opotoru River estuary, which is an intertidal/coast plain estuary. There is an abundance of birdlife to observe. There is a pleasant walking trail along the bay, accessible from the backyard. My daughter and I were lucky to have a clear night with a new moon.  Even with some ambient light, we could see the Milky Way and the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) with naked eyes from the comfort of lounge chairs on the deck.  To describe it a starry night would be an understatement. The place located conveniently between Raglan and the surfing spot at Ngarunui Beach. This is a new house in a new development.  It’s a thoughtfully designed, comfortable home with simple but beautiful spaces facilitating indoor/outdoor living.  The host was very accommodating, prompt, and clear in communication.

It was a heaven. Everything was perfect. Sur was a nicest person that I ever met through air BnB. I thoroughly recommend this place if you wanna have be ever relax.

Wonderful Airbnb. Stunning views. Probably the most stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen at an Airbnb which was amazing for cooking family meals and enjoying the view. Deb was very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

Wonderful spot with an amazing view. Lots for the kids to do, Flint was a hit, as was the fire pit, pool, spa and creek. Checked our eel trap as we left and caught (and released) an eel, memorable end to a lovely family mini break. Thank you Yana.

We absolutely loved our stay. Nathan was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to use his place for our small wedding ceremony. It was the most amazing day and we really enjoyed our entire stay. Thanks again Nathan!! We will always remember this beautiful space that we held our special day at. ☺️

Such a beautiful place to stay for our family weekend in Raglan. The house was very spacious and clean, with great amenities. We appreciated the welcome chocolate, lovely milk in the fridge, and loved the decor. Very comfortable. We liked the arty mugs so much that we bought some for ourselves from the local pottery. We had a wonderful stay at Okioki. The house is nestled in a beautiful natural setting, surrounded by peaceful landscapes that invite relaxation and disconnecting from everyday life. The tranquility of the area made it the perfect place to unwind. We especially enjoyed lighting the fire every evening — it not only warmed the house but also created a cozy atmosphere where we could share meaningful family moments. It truly felt like a retreat, and we left with great memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy nature in comfort.

Perfect spot for a weekend get away!! We really enjoyed our time at the tiny home, great location - close enough to town and surf. Easy check in and check out process and the outdoor bath was an added bonus. Will definitely be coming back

Absolutely breathtaking views sound this gorgeous cabin! It was cozy & comfortable. A highlight was taking the free kayaks for a paddle for more beautiful scenery on the water. Plus a bonus to be greeted by friendly goats on our way through the paddock down to the river. We found the shower tricky to maintain at a comfortable temperature, but that’s not uncommon when living off the grid. We’d absolutely recommend for a special experience!

Can't recommend this spot enough. my partner and I were looking for a cozy, blissful getaway from the city, and we found it! The living space was perfect for spreading out and playing board games, the kitchen had everything we needed to eat like kings, and the bedroom was so deliciously comfortable. The outdoor bath and shower were wonderful despite the autumn chill. Great location, not too close to Hamilton, but close enough to be able to nip to the shops easily. We had a fantastic few days here!!!

Very nice little place. Nice location and beautiful area, very private. Spa was amazing, and the breakfast goods and other condiments were much appreciated.

We absolutely loved our time tucked away in our own private little nook, I was finally able to have my busy real estate partner escape the busyness of constant communication. Very close to all the little bays and areas we wanted to explore, with a romantic quaint vibe and the heatpump was perfect given the crazy weather we had the first night! Thank you again, definitely will consider coming back in future if we explore the area again.
