Gorgeous property in a great location, easily walkable from the train station, city centre and bus stops onto the university of Lancaster. Responsive and helpful host. comfortable beds and great facilities. Perfect for a stay with friends or a family.

Great location in the middle of Ulverston. Kitchen had everything we needed and when we needed to we pressed 'boost' on the heating controls and the house heated quickly. very cozy, homely house. Would recommend and stay again

we enjoyed our stay. the view from bedroom is nice. and the fireplace was a cozy feature. the only downside is cleaning. the cleaners need to be sacked.

Had a great stay here with our 3 year old son. Parking spot on the cobbled driveway right next door to the cottage. Cottage was clean and spacious for the 3 of us. My son enjoyed playing with the dominoes and cards in the living room. Upstairs there is a good size bathroom with shower (no bath), small bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditoner were provided as well as his and hers spray deodrant. Towels also provided. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. We stayed when it was windy and the sash window in the double room was banging in the night so we had to fold some paper and wedge it in the gap to stop the banging but apart from this the room was comfortable and cosy. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including tea towels, washing up liquid, sponges etc. you just need some dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher.

We had a great stay at Paul’s, there were plenty of amenities which created a homely environment. Paul is very responsive and any help we needed he was always very quick to respond. The house is perfectly located, plenty nearby including supermarkets and traditional pubs. Would definitely return!

Situated in the heart of Cartmel, Ford House was the ideal location for our special family holiday with an age range of 6 to 80! The stunning house with its beautiful furnishings and decor was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We all felt instantly at home and settled in straight away. The very well equipped kitchen was the perfect hub as we prepared meals to enjoy in the garden or in the dining room. We also enjoyed being in very short walking distance of some wonderful pubs for the evenings we chose to eat out. We were lucky to be able to enjoy the lovely garden, a real sun trap and the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Judy was always friendly and quick to respond to any questions during the booking process and during our holiday. We all have memories we’ll treasure forever and we wish we could have stayed for even longer. We look forward to booking a visit to Ford House again in the future!

The place was beautiful and very welcoming . It felt like home almost immediately. It's located in a very private setting and we loved the river at the back of the property. We had a few teething issues to begin with as we had a wasps nest outside and the occasional power outage when the switch tripped on the fuse box but the host, Cheryl, was very quick to respond and helped resolve things straight away. She even offered to give us an extra day for free but because we had work the next day the option of a late checkout instead was very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Cheryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Cheryl!

Ben’s place was nice and well equipped for our stay. Location is good just a few minutes from pubs and restaurants in the town. Ben also communicated well, would stay again.

Lovely spacious ground floor apartment in a gated Georgian Building full of character. I stayed with a female friend and we felt safe and secure at all times and the bonus of parking for two cars is a rare find in Clitheroe. The welcome goods on arrival plus milk in the fridge were a nice touch too. I am familiar with Clitheroe as I shop there but have never stayed overnight but would do again definitely as there are lots of good places to eat and drink such as Holmes Mill, The Emporium and Wills Restaurant to name but a few. Also some nice independent shops too. My friend is from Scotland and she cant wait to return. There are also several excellent restaurants a short drive from Clitheroe too. The Ribble Valley offers lots to explore and some great scenery. Well worth a visit is the Melt Candle company in Waddington which is a ten minutes drive away. Tina is a great host and happy to help with anything and keeps in touch with you. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

Robin communicated promptly and was super helpful. His cottage is ideally located - a quick walk into Ambleside, but away from the centre and very quiet. It was clean and cosy. Perfect for a great walking holiday.

Well located flat in central Keswick - on street parking but we had no trouble on Easter weekend finding spaces. Well stocked with everything - great to have milk/tea/ coffee bags :) Big shower but narrow to get past bath to get to it ( see photos so not unexpected). Looked recently renovated so pristine clean. No window in bathroom so faint damp smell sadly but lots of air fresheners. There was a little back garden which would have been lovely to use if a little warmer. All in all great stay for 5 nights.

We absolutely loved our stay at Siobhan’s apartment! Cosy, comfortable and stylish, we felt right at home soon as we arrived. The apartment is in a fantastic location in-between Windermere and Bowness, both are within walking distance which is a real bonus! Check in was a breeze and the welcome gifts were very thoughtful. Church Street was a lovely place to stay, good layout, comfy furniture, plenty of room and all very clean. Location was good for us, 10 mins walk into the centre of Keswick or the lake. A great base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

Sue's apartment is perfect for a long weekend - it's spacious, has everything you might need, and is perfectly located in the town. Plus it has private parking, which is a rarity in Keswick.

This is the second time I have stayed at the studio. It is a lovely little place, compact but with everything you need in a very beautiful and convenient spot. Carol and Margaret are very helpful and friendly it is always a pleasure to stay in their beautiful flat. Thank you for being so welcoming and accomodating.

Just back from three nights and we had such a wonderful time. The property is in a great location with it being walking distance to bowness but also secluded. Kitchen amenities all great, excellent spec bathroom and very clean all round. We had a couple of questions which were answered very quickly. Highly recommend and we will be booking again.

A wonderful half term long weekend with our teenagers. Super quiet location, but close enough to Lancaster to make a dash into the city easy. Smashing property with jus the right mixture of character and modernity. Will be back.

Really brilliant place. Lovely house and great amenities. Really well stocked (unusual to have such good wine glasses!!). Well def use again!

We had a great stay. The house was in a beautiful location, right on the estuary. Plenty of beach for walking. Beds were comfy and ample linen and towels were provided plus a great welcome hamper. The games room provided hours of entertainment and the hot tub was lovely for relaxing in after a busy day. The nearby rock park/quarry was a really interesting day out. We also enjoyed a meal out at the King William IV in Kirksanton. Jenny was a great host and was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We booked on the day we wanted to arrive. Dispite a last minute booking our hosts were friendly and sent all the information we needed quickly. It is a beautiful, relaxing and well equipped home. Sitting out on an evening was lovely and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Lovely relaxing home surrounded by trees, even saw a fox one night.
