Awesome place!! Linda and Scott are super responsive and friendly. We had some issues with the hot tub and they fixed them right away. Super amazing hosts!

This was a great spot to gather as a family of adults with a dog. Hard wood floors throughout, great spaces to separate the early risers and the late sleepers. The kitchen is small but it was well stocked it was perfect for breakfast and reheating leftovers. Very quiet location, in a great walkable neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved this place! Very quiet with many amenities. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cookware, and also some snacks and basic cooking ingredients. The place was spotless and well decorated. The yard and fire pit were great features. There are a lot of games, puzzles, and DVDs for indoor entertainment. The tap water is “hard” but tastes fine. That is to be expected for a more remote location. This is a manufactured home and it has been taken care of well and updated recently. Lake Merwin is a short walk down the hill and is lovely. We were very comfortable at this house and would stay again!

We had such a beautiful stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of heart and effort into creating a true oasis. It felt like the perfect escape — peaceful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed in every detail. The home is tucked away in a charming neighborhood with lots of nearby shops, cafes, and things to do, and it’s just a short drive to Portland, which made exploring super convenient. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The home is lovely and private, with great amenities and I loved the private patio in the garden. Very comfortable bed, quiet and close to the Kenton neighborhood. The hot tub is a great bonus!

Beautiful home with easy access to everything in town. We were there for a wedding. Stayed in this home with our adult kids and grandson. The homeowners provided everything including toys. The set up was great. If we had the time we would have loved to yoyse the fire pit in back. I would recommend to others.

Rick’s house was like its own little hotel! Complete with food and drinks if you need it for purchase! We appreciated the stay close to Portland!

We had a great stay, the beds were comfortable and we spent an entire day back and forth in the spa (which you need to book separately). This would be a great place for a gals trip where everyone has a place to sleep and the spa is right downstairs. The staff was so so helpful and there wasn’t anything we felt wasn’t taken care of perfectly. The questions I did have were answered almost immediately through Airbnb messaging.

This was the perfect place for us to stay for a short trip to the Portland area. The place was very clean, the hosts were super friendly and accommodating, and we really enjoyed walking around the cute neighborhood it was in. Only thing to note is you can hear planes from PDX which might only matter if you’re a light sleeper.

Russell's place is small but the beds are comfortable and the amenities are all that you will need. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and products in case we forgot ours. The kitchen had enough food available if you were unable to grab a bite before check-in late at night. There were plenty of condiments and spices if you wanted to cook (we didn't) along with coffee to grind, a grinder and a coffee maker. The heating system is tricky but Russell provided instructions so it worked well. He also answered the phone and provided the entry code when I called. There were board games for people who wanted to stay off the grid and lots of movies available. We had a nice time and would definitely stay again.

Eileen’s place was beautiful, clean and with a beautiful backyard. The apartment was also well stocked with all the supplies guests may need. Eileen was also so responsive and checked in throughout our stay to ensure that we were comfortable. We felt right at home.

The Quiet Place was great, it was centrally located to what we needed to do. Dee Dee was very responsive to messages, I would definitely stay again. Also, being in a basement, there was not much noise from up top, nothing out of the ordinary foot steps. Great place!

We loved this place! It was comfortable, quiet, and clean, and we felt at home from the beginning. Some bus lines pass near the place, and a good grocery store is within walking distance. The hosts are very responsive, kind, and respectful.

Perfect spot to get away! Great wood stove in the main cabin and a perfect kitchen and grill to cook our feast. The hot tub was perfect during the rain we experienced while there. Would definitely stay again in the future.

The description and pictures did not do justice to the location and ambiance of this property. Absolutely a magical place with acreage and right on the Little Kalama river. Multiple places to sit and observe the beauty of the property. For a pet friendly property it was very clean as well. The good sized kitchen had everything we needed for the four of us. The yard is not completely fenced in the back but is bordered by the river and wooded area on both sides and gated and fenced in the front. There was no problem worrying about the dog running off but we kept him sight to make sure he did not get into mischief. The only issue really, was the screen doors were all not functioning properly which detracted from our ability to listen to the river while dining and relaxing in the house. We recommend this property and will hopefully be able to return!

Idyllic location especially for two excited and giddy fishermen. Serene and peaceful even though there was intermittent construction next door. You are off the main highway which we did not hear at all as the home is positioned away and down by the river. You get lost in the views and sounds of nature. There was low pressure from the shower head in the primary bath but that was no bother for this 5-star retreat. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I loved my time at Todd’s cabin #2. It was so peaceful and quiet. Right after arrival, I got to watch the local deer come snack on the fallen apple around the cabins. The bed was very comfortable. And going to the trailer to use the facilities was easy even at night. The coffee and breakfast in the morning were great. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the porridge. But I went back for seconds both days. Plus the sourdough was delicious. I also did the add on of a pizza making dinner. That pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had, plus you got to make your own from stretching out the doughy, putting on toppings, and cooking it in the wood fired oven. Over all this was an excellent experience. I highly recommend

What a gorgeous space to unplug (almost) entirely. You almost forget you are so close to town it truly feels like you are deep in the mountains. This is exactly the place we needed to escape from the world for a few days.

This review is about Keith. We never made it to his gorgeous appearing place because two family members were so ill during our family vacation. (I had to complete all the star ratings to get to this comment box.) Yet, Keith connected with compassion, understanding, and generosity of spirit. We hope to rebook with him at some future date.

Our family had a wonderful time at Camp Stanley! It was our second time gathering at this magical property, which provides enough space and activities for our large family to enjoy. We spent our days kayaking on the river, relaxing in the hot tub, watching the fish jump in the river, and using the archery set, pool table and dartboard. Camp Stanley is unlike most AirBnBs in that you feel as if you've been invited into someone's lovely home to visit for a long weekend. The large kitchen is well-stocked and appointed-- from a blender to espresso machine, you'll find everything you need to make any sort of meal. We also appreciate all of the thoughtful touches and decorations; you can tell that Camp Stanley is well-loved and our family has been thrilled to have the opportunity to love it, too. We're already looking forward to our visit next year. Thank you, Carolyn and Nick, for being such wonderful hosts and for sharing your special space with us.
