Staying at Darcy and Mel's farmhouse was like staying with friends. Upon walking in, everything is exactly like the pictures and more. The decor is straight out of a magazine, and the whole house was sparkling clean! Anything we needed or wanted was provided and easy to find. Darcy is extremely responsive and the perfect host! The town of Sparta is very quaint, but the food at Marioochi's and The Coffee Collective is second to none. The location is perfect for those wanting to be close to stores but still off the beaten path. It is always quiet to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. After a day of hiking and chasing waterfalls, there is plenty of privacy to soak in the hot tub or sit around the fire pit under the stars. Let's talk cows...who knew cows could be so entertaining?!? Every day was like watching a new episode of a reality tv show, lol! We stayed for two weeks and had the best time...it truly was a wonderful experience!

We used Karen's house for some family that came in for a wedding at Macedonia Meadows. The space was beautiful and probably the best equiped Airbnb that I have ever been to. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

Really big and quality guest house for the money. Beautiful property and friendly but unobtrusive hosts. Hour from Nashville and great state parks nearby. Also, it was SUCH a bonus to have a frozen pizza and eggs in the fridge when we arrived. We were starving, didn’t think ahead (like my mom would’ve) and the nearest store closes at 8! Can’t say enough good things.

Visiting family in the area and location was excellent. Home was spotless and they allowed my well behaved 10 year old dog and cat to stay. Outside porch/deck area was very comfortable and serene. Loved spending time there enjoying nature. Be sure to visits their shops downtown and introduce yourself. Very friendly and great places to shop. Sparta is a wonderful area and offers something for everyone. I’ll definitely be renting again.

A quiet country area. Walking down the road, we talked to a few neighbors who were super friendly. Great community!

"Janet’s home was absolutely beautiful! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt an immediate sense of comfort and warmth—truly a home away from home. The space was spotless and inviting, and it was clear that Janet had thoughtfully provided everything we could possibly need during our stay. The surrounding area was breathtakingly peaceful, and we spent some lovely time on the deck, enjoying a BBQ while chatting with the cows and various wildlife. The sounds of nature were so calming. We were in town to visit my Auntie, who has been homebound for months but was finally feeling up for some visitors. She was able to spend the day with us and felt so relaxed and at ease—she even said it was like a mini vacation for her! Janet had provided a detailed list of local suggestions, from things to see to where to eat and drink. We were especially excited to try Ralph’s Doughnuts, which were absolutely delicious! My Auntie was thrilled

We had an amazing time with our family and friends before they head back to college/work. Our boat is at Hurricane Marina and the drive there was less than 15 minutes- which was very nice! We enjoyed playing pool and games. House had everything you needed and was clean and comfortable! We highly recommend this place and Michelle was super responsive! Thank you for sharing!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, private, cozy, comfy retreat, look no further! We loved everything about Ron and Joyce’s place. They obviously care very much about their guests’ experience and have included too many thoughtful details to mention. We really couldn’t have been happier and only wish we could have stayed longer.

I loved the airbnb! My husband thats a different story only because he does not know about the chronicals of narnia! 🤣😂 he is old school! He did say it was very clean and smelled great! My adult kids loved the pictures and on facetime checking on us! We frequent crossville every year for our anniversary to play golf at Lake Tansi. We enjoyed our stay. This is not a negative review by no means but only a suggestion there is no room to store your personal items for the bathroom area, so a shelf in the bathroom above the toilet kinda in the theme would be helpful! We did use the little plastic clothes hanger that was in the closet to hang our clothes on which was very helpful! The rest of our clothes just stayed in the suitcase. All in all the description of the road noise was stated before hand and we did use the little sound machine but did move it closer to the window as to not have it next to our heads and that was much better! Kelly did respond quickly if i needed her! Thank you!

Such a beautiful place right in town square with lots of things to do!

Located in the historic downtown area, this place is very spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There are so many places to dine and grab delicious coffee. The hosts were beyond accommodating with my stay! I definitely would stay here again!

This home is a true gem! The view alone of the green pastures and landscape from the den alone are spectacular. The loft is very comfortable and spotless clean with amenities to make a stay perfect. Slept with fresh cool Tennessee air like a champ and started each day perfect while working in the area. Kevin and Stacie are awesome hosts that have created a unique accommodation. Friendly waves from neighbors and walks along the sidewalks of Main Street are a bonus. A comfortable space for a getaway anytime. We will be back!
