The house has stairs including a tight, narrow spiral staircase to the basement. It has an open-floor plan upstairs with a king bed & a full bathroom. This centrally located well equipped duplex is your access point to all the adventures that South Fork has to offer in the San Juan and Rio Grande National Forests. We are located just off Highway 160, where you are a short 18 mile drive to Wolf Creek Ski Area. In the summer walk to the South Fork of the Rio Grande for fly fishing as well as an easy drive to many rivers, lakes and reservoirs. Local coffee, pizza, visitors centers and groceries are all in walking distance from our place.

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.
