Stunning Home by Bishopthorpe Rd & York Racecourse

The best location for a stay in York? We certainly think so! A 5-min walk from York Racecourse and a 10-min walk from Bishopthorpe Road's shops, cafes, and restaurants. The city centre and train station are also only 20 mins away on foot. Our place comfortably sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. We have a south facing yard complete with a cosy corner sofa - perfect for drinks in the sun! Our open-plan living area even has a wood burner for those cosy cold nights. Enjoy your stay!.

The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.
