Penny was incredible. She was proactive, communicative and had everything you could think of in the place. She had a wonderful full description of the area, restaurants, places to see sunset - every detail you needed. It was a wonderful stay and we couldn’t have asked for a better location or host. Perfect!

I had an amazing few days at Jayme's place. Everything was exactly as described. I look forward to returning. This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is a hidden gem. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. Perfect for a small family or getaway with a few friends. I was able to visit with my family, while having my own quiet space where I could work in the day and see my kids/grandkids in the afternoons and evenings. Just steps away, you can rent a bike and go anywhere. The area is also very walkable. A wonderful restaurant is also just steps away from the property. Everything is very close, including groceries, restaurants, and things to do. And, of course, there is a very easy short stroll to the beach so no worries about looking for parking :) Jayme is super friendly and helpful. It was a treat to meet her. I don't think I have ever met a host in person. I have been fortunate to have wonderful AirBnB experiences, but this has been one of my best.

Heba’s place is an excellent listing with a great location on Hwy 12 in Frisco. It offers just about every amenity needed for a Hatteras Island visit. Even though my wife and I visited in the winter, we still felt there was much to do outside during our visit. The kitchen was great. The bathroom was clean with a solid shower. The bed was very comfy for those who like a more firm bed. I loved the electric heater in the living room and the TVs in both the living room and the bedroom were a bonus. Ample amounts of parking available and quite private, even though you are a few feet away from other dwellings. There is a great restaurant across the street within walking distance and a gas station only a minute away. 10 minute drive to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, or the Hatteras Ferry and less than 5 minute drive to Frisco Beach. Definitely recommend and would stay here again if this listing is available in the future.

Lucy is always a wonderful host. Her place is our home away from home. Looking forward to the next stay.

Nancy was an extraordinary host! Her condo was cozy and the surroundings absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the sound of the sea breeze at night and enjoyed hanging out at the beach during the day, just steps from her place. It was a very relaxing stay! Even after we left, Nancy went above and beyond by mailing us an item we left behind. 100% would recommend this condo for its comfortable atmosphere, serene surroundings and its wonderful host!

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

We had a fabulous stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. The property is beautifully maintained and in a perfect location for beaches and the multitude of restaurants that are nearby. John was immediately available when contacted and was very helpful. We recommend this property without any hesitation.

We had a great vacation at Daniel’s home. It was extremely clean and exactly as described. It was in a perfect location to walk to the beach or to nearby coffee and ice cream shops, restaurants, and surf shops. Short driving distances to many other beaches as well. An added bonus, were the beds being very comfortable. I would highly recommend Daniel’s place to anyone looking for a pristine, relaxing home in a beach/surf community. If we come back to the outer banks we will definitely stay here again. Thanks Daniel !

We LOVED our stay at 3 Angel's Haven! This was our second time around and once again, Nicky could not have been nicer. There are six of us - three couples - so the room layout, each with its own bathroom, works perfectly for us. A short walk and we're at the beach. A short drive and we have our choice of restaurants, grocery, and fun, outdoor activities. We choose to come to Avon in the winter for a quieter vacation and we're coming from Wisconsin, so the colder temps were still 30 degrees warmer than home. We will be back.

First thing I noticed walking in was the beautiful colors on the walls. The house was decorated so well, we felt welcomed and comfortable. We love vacationing down here and will be looking forward to staying here again.

This might be the most amazing Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, absolutely unique and the little town of Wanchese is just charming. The climate control worked perfectly, the beds were super comfy, and the showers had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Everything was clean and tidy, including the yard and outside areas. As an added treat, there were two pigs in the pen that we fed raisin bread and a cat that visited us every morning! We stayed during the bluegrass festival that is held every year in Manteo so the location was perfect for that. Seriously, it was pretty perfect and we could not have loved it any more!

We had a great experience at Sarah’s house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of kitchen supplies which I loved since I do a lot of the cooking when we travel. My kids LOVED being on the water, we forgot our fishing poles, but they were able to catch crabs and shrimp. The locations is great and easy to access the beach, restaurants, and tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend and would stay again if we are ever down that way!

Actual house is even better than pictures show! And well stocked kitchen makes preparing meals in easy. The dumb waiter is such a helpful tool for getting luggage (and groceries!) to the front door with ease. LOVED our time here!

My family and I loved our stay at Beverly’s beach house. The house was beautiful and the location and views of the ocean could not be beat! Beverly was quick to respond and helpful when we had a couple of questions during our stay. Thank you for everything!

While we were on our way to Arlene's house she contacted me to let me know the street and driveway were flooding due to the high waves. She said if it was too hard to get in, her husband would take us to the house in his truck. We were able to make it in but it was a very kind offer and went above and beyond! Arlene's house was comfortable with an amazing view. A lot of the beach had receded away due to storms which made walks on the beach difficult at times but the view from her decks made up for it. The only thing we could have wished for was a bit more yard with less tall prickly vines to walk our pup and to walk thru to the beach due to the driveway and road being flooded. All in all, we had a WONDERFUL time and I would come back again. Thank you Arlene for your very fast responses and offer of your husband's truck to get in! If we come back to the area we will absolutely see if your home is available again.

It was especially clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was efficient with new appliances and granite counters. The bathroom also had granite counters. It too, was an efficient use of space with storage. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of storage. It is very close to the beach, restaurants, the ferry, and shopping. The property has a pool, too. We enjoyed the walking paths around the property that wind around a marsh area. Office staff is on hand to answer questions.

This is a perfect place to stay while on Ocracoke! Very comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed a swim in the pool too! This spot is quiet and lovely. We enjoyed our morning coffee around the pool and enjoyed the smell of jasmine that was starting to open up and listened to the mourning doves. Easy walk to Ocracoke Coffee and The Back Porch restaurant. Don’t forget to shop at Bella Fiore and Books to be Red. We will be back!

location was great! there's bike and golf cart rental just across the street if you decide your rather park your car for your entire stay and just putter around in either of those. We liked having our coffee just across the street at the bock in the early morning.

Perfect location for us. Lovely view from her cozy porch and everything you need is right there. The restaurant at the marina was perfect for dinner after a day of fishing.

2 dads & 3 kids vacationed at this residence for a week in July 2024. We reached out a few weeks prior and the host answered all our questions, including that bed linens & bathroom towels would be included!! That’s a great perk and it was appreciated . The kitchen was a plus in that there were ample pots, pans, bowls etc, and a few basics (alum foil, seasoning, etc) that were available from previous guests/host, and we added to it as well. Two covered parking spots kept our cars cool and scooters dry. Overall, no major issues other than the week flew by too quickly.
