We loved our stay at Kayo's place during our recent trip to Hakone. The bagels and home made granola for breakfast were yum. Close to good restaurants, walking trails and shrines. Easy to get into Gora by bus.

鉄道好きにはたまらない、夢のような滞在でした！ まず、オーナーこだわりの鉄道シミュレーターは圧巻。リアルな操作感にワクワクが止まらず、大人も子どもも夢中になりました。ここでしか味わえない特別な体験です。 お部屋は清潔で広々、ベッドも寝心地抜群。ワークスペースにはホワイトボードやプロジェクター、Nintendo Switchもあり、仕事も遊びもどちらも快適に過ごせました。Wi-Fiも安定していて、リモートワークにもぴったりです。 駅から徒歩6分とアクセスは良好ですが、やや上り坂になっているので、荷物が多い時は少し大変かもしれません。それでも到着すれば、その分の疲れも吹き飛ぶほど魅力たっぷりの空間が待っています！ さらに感動したのが、ホームベーカリーで焼かれたパン。朝の焼きたてパンは格別で、香ばしい香りとふわふわの食感に癒されました。まるでカフェにいるような贅沢な朝でした。 徒歩圏内にはサウナ、博物館もあり、オーナーおすすめのルートを楽しむだけでも充実した時間が過ごせました。 鉄道ファンはもちろん、ファミリーなど、誰にでもおすすめできる素敵なお宿です。また必ずリピートしたいと思います！

This villa was a true gem and one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had in Japan. Tucked away in a quiet, beautifully wooded area of Hakone, it offers just the right kind of seclusion — peaceful and private, yet still convenient. The highlight, without question, is the 24-hour private natural hot spring right in the house. It’s easy to use, deeply relaxing, and a rare luxury we truly appreciated after long days out. The house itself is spacious, well thought out, and incredibly comfortable, with multiple bathrooms and sinks that make it easy for groups to settle in without getting in each other’s way. The heating system was excellent — we stayed during a cold and rainy night, but the entire home stayed warm and cozy throughout. The ambiance is tranquil, the design classic and calming, and every corner felt clean and cared for. We left refreshed and already dreaming of our next stay.

Meine zwei Nächte bei Wakoh und ihrer Familie waren fantastisch. Der Checkin verläuft problemlos, man ist komplett autonom. Die Lage des Hauses ist auf der anderen Seite, ländlich und total ruhig, man ist aber trotzdem in 20 Minuten zu Fuß spätestens im Zentrum. Ganz tolle Tipps bekommt man von der Gastgebern. Die Familie ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit, die zwei Hunde sind super schön und stören überhaupt nicht. Wakoh Bereite ein sehr leckeres Frühstück zu. Sie gibt viele Ideen und hat auch Fahrservice angeboten. Die anderen Gäste waren auch sehr nett. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hierher kommen.

I had such an amazing time at Sachio-San's place. He's such a friendly and kind man, and it was great to talk to him. He also made me delicious breakfast and was driving me to the station, so kind of him! The room is very spacious, quiet and nice. It takes some time to get from the station to his place, but with a taxi or his driving services it's no problem. Thank you for the great time Sachio, I hope we see each other again someday!!

Miki, Keita, and Yuko were soooooo incredibly hospitable, kind, and generous, it was beyond everything that I was expecting. The food was immaculately prepared at their place and they were gracious enough to take me to amazing places to eat too. They were so considerate to take me to places they thought I would appreciate as an artist, I got to make my own hanko- personal stamp by a local master craftsman, had amazing temple food, went to the lake, the whole area is so stunning. I’m sad my trip was too short. I’d highly recommend at least a week there if you enjoy being in the mountains and nature. There are so many amazing trails to hike. Keita also speaks English and even knew who Bauhaus is! Super plus points there ^____^ thank you sooooo much!!!!!! I am forever grateful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

A lovely hostel in a beautiful spot! We were able to see Mt. Fuji from our room’s window, which was a lovely way to wake up, and greatly appreciated the reasonably priced bike rentals (In town, places were asking for about 5x the hostel’s rate for rentals). There’s a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere in the common spaces, and they even offer free (delicious) home-made bread alongside free coffee/tea. I would highly recommend this spot.

非常に快適なステイができました！ロケーションも良いので市内観光に適しています。トイレが二つあるのも良いです。

大学時代の友人4名で利用させて頂きました。車を玄関先に駐車、チエックイン、設備の利用方法等短時間で的確に無駄のない説明を頂き宿泊が楽しみになりました。普段マンション生活で窮屈な生活をしている事もあり隣の部屋を気にせず古民家一棟貸切で過ごせたのは最高でした。まず岩風呂に入れ替わり立ち替わり大男が合宿を思い出し入りましたが2人でも余裕！夕食はレストランのテイクアウトと近くのコンビニで調達便利でした。和室先にデッキがあり、そちらで夕食お決まりの飲み会。早雲岳を見渡せる最高のロケーションでした。何部屋かありましたがメインの和室で4人で布団を並べられたのが最高でした。翌日に仕事のメールが入りましたがWIFI環境も整えられており、今後は皆でワーケーションでも良いかなと盛り上がりました。チェックアウトも時間通り、利用者の評価が高い理由がわかりました。次回は宿来宿往さんの温泉宿に挑戦したいと思いました。
