We were in a pinch for accommodations, so we were relieved to learn that Jeannette had space for us. The space was large and clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable. I would stay here again.

Words cannot do justice to this place. Beautiful home and even more beautiful surroundings. A true gem, would definitely recommend!!!!

I would had lived there for the rest of my days if I could. What a beautiful little piece of paradise . The most relaxing sleeps and the most beautiful surroundings . Close to the ferry , Haida Museum, DG and Skidegate . I had no issues walking to any of those things.. there is a beautiful place to sit next to the ocean just at the bottom of the hill as well. And Marci , what a beautiful soul , she really made my trip just lovely. I can not thank her enough for hosting me and sharing her slice of heaven.

Cute, homey little cabin. Has all your basic amenities and Kevin is on-top of getting back to you with any questions. So close to the beach and the wood stove inside heats up the cabin quickly!

Very helpful hosts with lots of local recommendations and super clean well appointed place in a quiet neighbourhood!

We stayed here from April 23-May 2 2025, while visiting Haida Gwaii for some hiking and cultural learning. I’d recommend this place for the following reasons: 1) LOCATION: ideally located mid way in the island in a lovely town with excellent grocery stores, restaurants etc. The property is also lovely and peaceful facing the bay 2) SIZE: the place has large indoor and outdoor spaces. The bedrooms and porch spaces are much larger than appears in the photos 3) MANAGEMENT: the place was very clean and exceptionally well stocked for longer stays with lots of towels, bedding, kitchenware, great HG books, games, lots of hooks, all beautiful new appliances including a big washer and dryer and bathtub. I agree with other comments about the living room being a bit awkward for watching TV or general hanging out, but if you’re in a place like HG you’ll be outside most of the time anyways so no biggie. Stunning, character-packed property in an impossibly beautiful spot. Warm and well stocked. Great communication. Perfect secluded getaway. I'll be back.
