Aran, Shan and Shan’s other half were wonderful hosts. They were friendly, helpful and communicative. The spot is as described on the listing, but much more beautiful in person. With a beautiful, well maintained green leafy garden and pool area. It’s located in a quiet, walkable, safe neighborhood with lots of restaurant options, ATMs, convenience stores, markets, and mainly the beach and lagoon. The room is clean, neat and has a comfortable mattress and pillows. Two sockets on each side of the bed. There’s no a/c but the fan works perfectly fine. The shower has perfect water pressure and ventilation, as it’s an open (thatched) high roof. There’s a fully stacked kitchen with breakfast and dinner available on request. I’d definitely love to gate-keep this one, but I’d also very much recommend it.

Unsere Familie hat einen ganzen Monat in dieser wunderbaren Airbnb-Unterkunft verbracht, und es war einfach hervorragend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der herausragende Service von Villa-Manager Suresh und seiner unermüdlichen Unterstützung durch Manel. Sie haben wirklich alles getan, um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Villa selbst war makellos, komfortabel und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, die wir uns nur wünschen konnten. Die Lage war perfekt, um Ruhe zu genießen und gleichzeitig die Umgebung zu erkunden. Suresh und Manel waren immer zur Stelle, wenn wir Fragen hatten oder Hilfe benötigten, und ihre Freundlichkeit und Professionalität haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Sie haben uns nicht nur willkommen geheißen, sondern uns das Gefühl gegeben, zu Hause zu sein. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen und freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt.

Kingfisher at Khomba Lodge

Khomba was a beautiful place to stay! The rooms were nice and cool- beds comfy and showers wonderful. The whole property was peaceful and in a great location. The host and her staff were incredibly attentive. It was wonderful to wake up to the sounds of crashing waves and bird song and then to be able to go right outside for a morning swim in the pool or ocean. My family is already dreaming of our next stay.

The Green House is a little oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of Sri Lanka. Immaculately presented with three great bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms, the house is clean and modern. All the staff involved in looking after us and the house were also a real delight - so accommodating and helpful in every aspect. a short walk to a wonderful beach which the kids loved made this one of the best places that we stayed in during our whole trip. Thank you everyone at The Green House!

Lagoon sunset heaven villa

We cannot describe how amazing our stay was. This is the best place in whole Sri Lanka. We stayed here with our 1.5y old toddler and we all loved the villa. Swimming pool is suitable for a kid and rooms are very nice and clean. Location also is great. Away from the city noise but close enough to the beach. Amazing host Kanishka drove us everywhere with his tuk tuk. We booked this place for 4 nights but we loved it here so much that we cancelled our flight and stayed 10 more days. And the best part of it is the familly who owns the villa. So kind and frendly people. They will do anything for you to make your stay unforgettable. Kanishkas mother can cook you the most amazing food. His sister and mother also babysit our toddler which was amazing. We felt like a part of their family. The kindest people we have met. There are monkeys coming by every morning and evening. Perfect additioin to superb villa. If you are visiting Sri Lanka we highly recommend this place. You will be in love.

Jasims Villa ist traumhaft. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben - sauber, super komfortabel, einfach riesig und mit einem eigenem Strandzugang. Jasim war immer schnell zu erreichen und hat uns einen späteren Check-Out angeboten. Nuwan und seine liebe Frau leben vor Ort…seine Frau ist eine Superköchin. Du musst nicht auswärts essen. Sehr empfehlenswert :) wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

We loved the sound of the sea and appreciated the comfortable beds and airconditioning. The fact that the property is enclosed with space for our toddler to play was convenient. Anke had great recommendations; including for nearby beaches with that was ideal for our toddler. The restaurant on the other side of the beach has great coffee. And I enjoyed the surf lesson provided by local surfing school very much. The spa at the Anantara nearby was excellent. All in all we had a lovely family holiday. There were personal touches and extra treats that were much appreciated.

Villa Chillax cottage

I booked Villa Chillax last minute as was let down by another accommodation, so had to quickly find something on the same day. Tharak and her husband were able to take my 3-night booking right away and the place was spotlessly clean when I arrived. I was also welcomed with a fresh juice and a warm greeting. The place was really nicely decorated and the bathroom and comfortable bed had luxurious feel and ambience. The private terrace was a lovely place to sit and relax and the garden just dreamy with lots of wildlife around. The nearest beach called Silent Beach was just over 5 mins walking distance and it was so pretty and secluded. There was also a lots of nice restaurants close by and my hosts provided a good Sri Lankan breakfast for a reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again. Really was a nice chilled place to stay :)

Superbe ! Le lieu est exceptionnel, depuis le restaurant (très bon ! et avec un super rapport qualité prix), vous êtes à quelques mètres d’une magnifique plage sauvage. La plage est immense et vous aurez l’occasion d’observer les tortues le soir (via un tour organisé)! Depuis votre logement vous entendrez le bruit des vagues. C’est un logement très paisible. L’hôte et l’équipe est très réactive et gentille. C’était super et nous avons passé un super séjour ici!

We stayed one night at Hasith's Cottage. The apartment is new and clean. We directly felt very comfortable. Hasith is a very friendly and supportive host. We booked a safari through him. It was a great experience! He also arranged a taxi for us. We would have liked to stay longer at this beautiful place! Highly recommend :)

Great place to stay. Very close to silent beach, only a few minutes by foot. One of the most beautiful beaches we have seen here. Closeby to a local store and tuk tuks for easy transport. His family also supported with a taxi service, very friendly and reliable. Would highly recommended staying here.

Best stay in our entire Sri Lanka trip! Such a beautiful and well maintained space with lovely caretaker Rita always available to answer any questions. Would seriously recommend this place for families halting at Tangalle. The beach is serene and not as crowded as Hiriketiya so that also is a plus. All amenities were as mentioned. This was the only place in our entire trip which provided us with generous quantity of drinking water such that we need not purchase from the supermarket :)

une villa parfaite, avec une situation parfaite juste quelques mètres de l'océan et de la ville et d'un quartier bien agréable l'accueil et le suivi par Irish est formidable et parfait. cette villa permet un repos profond et à des qualités top allez y sans retenue car elle vous permet d'être comme chez vous avec en plus une petite rue hyper calme restaurant à côté familial et prêt à toujours rendre service ( challenge hut) piscine impeccable et une eau parfaite si nous pouvions m'être 10 étoiles, nous le ferrions avec sincérité. 👌👍👏

Her attention to detail and consistent communication made us feel completely at ease throughout our trip. Celine went far beyond what one would expect from a host. She offered fantastic local recommendations, personally took us around the area, and even accompanied us on a grocery run — a gesture that meant so much. Logement très agréable : tout le bas est réservé pour les locataires (3 chambres, une salle de bain, une cuisine, une salle à manger), les hôtes vivent à l'étage au-dessus. Le logement est propre, les chambres climatisées, les hôtes accueillants. La plage est très proche, ainsi que les restaurants.

Fantastic accommodation and host. We had a lovely stay in this air bnb. The host was fantastic helping us with the laundry and organising a scooter. Finally the architecture of the building was stunning and the outdoor space. Close to everything thing you need in Tangelle. Highly recommend
