Second time staying at this property and it’s a lovely experience and lovely area off the beaten path. Very quiet and clean. I’m appreciative of the hospitality that both Sharon and Stephen showed me. Will be going back for a 3rd time in the future.

We had a wonderful time on our trip. The condo was beautiful and the most well stocked air bnb we have ever stayed in. The grounds are very well kept and clean. The location is perfect. We felt comfortable and at home. We would absolutely stay again.

This was a great place to spend with a senior guest who was visiting Hawaii for the first time and who was comfortable sleeping late in her own bedroom, jumping on the rent-a-car for a daily excursion and coming home to spend the evening relaxing in the lanai watching the waves, the surfers, and the sunsets. I was able to take a few quick morning walks to the nearby markets and beaches and the time flew! The location was ideal for both worlds and made for the best mother/daughter trip ever!

Amazing stay! Thoughtful touches and very well equipped Airbnb. We REALLY appreciated all the beach equipment available for use (ie sunscreen, umbrella, cooler, etc). Flexible checkin, communicative and friendly host. Quiet area. Was close by drive to all the spots but you would need a car to get around. Lots to eat/do in the area. Fast WiFi and appreciated the TV. Parking was simple, driveway not too steep getting in and out was pretty easy. Great deal would recommend to anyone !! :))

Kathleen's place is an easy walk to restaurants and activities in Kona. The pool area was clean and not crowded when we were there. We utilized the beach chairs, snorkel gear, and cooler that were available.

this is the third Airbnb We have stayed at on this trip to Hawaii and by far the nicest. Even though it's not right on the beach it's like a brand new studio apartment very well furnished the bed was comfortable bathroom was excellent and a nice large kitchen area. We walked down to the ocean and it was four or five blocks maybe a 7 minute walk. if we ever come back we'll definitely stay here again

Perfect place for our family to stay while we were in Kona! Great space and close to amenities.

A mostly off-the-grid awesome spot with a partial ocean view through the trees and a lovely patio perfect for breakfast. The firm mattress was smaller than a queen—not an issue if you're solo or comfortable snuggling. Two cute, always-hungry cats kept us company, though their nighttime roof adventures were a bit disruptive :).

Chris is an amazing host and is very clear in his communication. House was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stuffed with a lot of condiments and a lot of attention to details. Yard had many fruit bearing trees. A quick drive to nice beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc. All in all we were very satisfied.

This place was truly magical. Like being in the middle of the jungle but with every creature comfort you could need. The location along the coast is spectacular. I was sad I couldn’t stay longer. Minor disappointment not having access to the roof deck as advertised but only because it sounds from other reviews that getting up there is icing on the cake. 10/10 would stay again.

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!

The most incredible AirBnB stay we have ever had. T was very communicative and helpful throughout our entire stay. We have never felt such peace and security. Beautiful home with the friendliest cats, Franny and Smoothie! T designed and built additional parts of the home and we can see the love put into it. We enjoyed the croaking of the frogs at night, the cuddles from the kitties, the spaciousness of the house, and the convenience of the washer, dryer, and kitchen. We are definitely inspired to live more sustainably and had a great time checking out T's recommendations for us. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

Jade’s place was incredible. The house was well equipped and clean, but the views and the many balconies set it apart from any other nearby rental. The room with the four twin beds was amazing to sleep my young children so they didn’t feel scared. The fresh fruit trees really iced the cake! Jade was incredibly responsive and provided so many local recommendations as well as completely clear instructions, a dream host!

This place was great. It is a carriage house with two levels: each is it's own room/apartment connected by a staircase. This was great for us because we had two couples who each took a room, but we were able to still interact.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was located within walking distance to many things in the area. Great view of the ocean and we enjoyed using the grilling area by the pool. Would stay again!

The condo was absolutely fabulous. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need, plus beach towels, beach bag along with fins, goggles, and beach chairs. Enjoyed watching the sunset every night from our balcony. Easliy walked to numerous resturants. Highly recommend.

Location was perfect. Sunsets amazing. Loved that there was snorkeling and pool noodles at the condo. AC lovely.

Lori’s condo is amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer location on the beach, within an easy 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops of Kona. Five minute drive to Banyans and Lyman’s surf breaks too. We were so incredibly comfortable and the condo has everything you could possibly need. The description is right-on. We would definitely stay here next time.

We had a wonderful time! Stunning view and balcony right over the water — amazing sunsets. Very responsive and helpful. When we were missing bathsoap and on the last roll of TP, she had the housekeeper come over within 1-2 hours to restock for us (and brought us a box of chocolates). We loved listening to the waves, and seriously could not ask for a better view! Also a generally nice location that was only a very pleasant ~15 minute walk to a restaurant/shopping area. Greatly enjoyed our stay while we were here!
