This is our second time in two years, staying in this exact condo, and our family of four feels right at home! You can’t be the location across from Magic Sands, we feel very comfortable with our teens, walking across the street or going down to the gated pool on their own. Great separation of space for a family with a living room and kitchen, and we use the kitchen the entire stay. Comfortable beds and lots of beach chairs and boogie boards, etc. on the lanai. Great condo in every way-very responsive hosts.

Really loved our stay. We made great use of the beach and snorkle equipment provided. Loved being close by so many beaches includng Honaunau. Place was clean, wifi was fast, and was especially nice to have a washer and dryer.

We cannot say enough positive things about Tulpe as a wonderfully kind, responsive host. The location is convenient & quiet/peaceful. Check in & out as well as all communication was incredibly smooth. Everything is as pictured, very clean, & has everything you’d need. Highly recommend a stay here. :)

Anthony’s (Tony) place was quite the revelation, a little paradise!. Located close to downtown, it was perfect for exploring Hilo by foot including local cafes, grocery shops, farmers market and the odd pub! Tony was a truly amazing host and quick to respond. The listing was exactly as pictured—clean, cozy, and full of Hawaiian charm, with beautiful artefacts, and some paintings he has actually done himself! The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances one would ever need and complimentary teas, water, coffee (and a coffee maker or filters – for the traditional coffee drinker to actually brew the coffee), which I diligently used. The property also has lots of books for the avid reader, puzzles and board games such as dominos, chess, cards to keep one busy. Wifi was fast, and a Bluetooth speaker is provided to listen to favourite music. I would 100% stay again! Mahalo dear Tony and consider accepting my invite for a safari in Kenya!

Place itself was nice and comfy. Kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. I was in a downstairs unit and noise travels easily, could hear upstairs neighbors at all hours. Despite the noise, I would stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Lava Lounge! The space was very clean, cozy, and in a fantastic location—just a short drive to town, yet peaceful and full of island charm. I especially loved opening the windows to let in the ocean breeze and listen to the birds in the morning—it was incredibly relaxing. Mack is an extremely friendly and personable host who made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this place and would book it again in a heartbeat!

We stayed a couple of nights at this beautiful place. Meg and Bred are great hosts. We loved the view from the Porch, all the small details in the apartment. We took private surf lessons with Brad and he is a very great teacher, he is super passionate about surfer. He also offers coffee tours. Definitely check with them what to do as we got a lot of recommendations and they help in case something is needed. The environment is peaceful, non touristic and gives you an impression how it is to be a local. Enjoy the jungle sounds at night and the stunning sunsets from the Porch. Thanks for hosting us. This was our second stay at one of Patricia’s properties. Great location, had everything that we needed and Patricia responded to our one need in a very prompt and professional manner.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Justin‘s place. It is very spacious and we were a family of five. My mom, my husband and my two daughters. The kitchen was fully stacked, and the mattresses were super comfortable. The snorkeling gear was a little old so we ended up buying our own gear. The area was great. Very close to a swimming beach and a beach for snorkeling. Justin was very responsive. Always replied right away and very helpful. We hope to come back someday soon!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and well-maintained home. The ocean view from the balcony was stunning, and the house was tidy and comfortable. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly, making the experience smooth from start to finish. It’s a great base for exploring the island—just keep in mind that having a car is essential. Nos encantó la casa! Es un lugar muy tranquilo con sonidos de la naturaleza. A las personas que les guste estar rodeado de lo natural, sin que se pierda la comodidad, es un sitio excepcional, con vista increíble. Jenne nos indico a la perfección la ubicación de la casa y nos recibió con amabilidad y una sorpresa de su parte nos esperaba. This place was fantastic. The view is amazing- ocean, stars, mountains, it literally has it all. It’s super family friendly, tons of stuff to help you if you are traveling with an infant, toys, yard, safe space, play pen— everything you could need. It’s in a great spot with beautiful beaches ten minutes away. The hosts are so incredible. We grilled out on the deck watching the stars, picked fruit in the yard, enjoyed Kona coffee. If you stay anywhere else on big island you are missing out. This is a must stay and an incredible experience. We will return ❤️

This was a great base for visiting Volcanoes NP, just an easy short drive to the park entrance which was exactly what we were looking for. The living space was bright and spacious and made our group of 6 feel right at home with ample space to spread out. We were surprised at the large swings in temperature even within the house so be prepared to dress warmly in the late evening and early mornings but the house also had plenty of extra blankets and heaters to help.

What a beautiful space! Everything was perfect and clean and my friends and I had everything that we needed! It’s also a quick 2 min walk to restaurants and stores but enough out of the way that you do not feel like you are in ‘town.’ I always love spending time in Hilo - it’s a great town for so much and this was the perfect place to stay at while there! On a side note for other guests - there are 83 whales in this place - we couldn’t resist counting! It’s so adorable. Mahalo

What a perfect place to stay. Beautiful view and awesome accommodations. Quiet and peaceful. Easy to get to everywhere. Chad was great! Super helpful and attentive. Very comfortable place to stay with everything you could want. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Beautiful condo, very close to an amazing beach. Good amenities. The property management was quick to reach out and deal with anything. We had a lovely visitor we named frank the ghecko every morning while we ate our breakfast.

Our stay at this condo was wonderful- appreciated the central AC during a warm humid few days in Kona! Great amenities, plenty of beach/snorkeling gear, well-stocked kitchen, and comfy couch and beds. The guest room queen bed was a tad firm, but worked well for one of the couples. The king bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai with a peek ocean view and the occasional rooster noises (bring earplugs if you like to sleep in! This applies to the whole island, tbh). Oh, and the pool area was great too when we needed a break from all the great beaches nearby! Would definitely stay again!

The accommodation was just like the picture. The clean and well-organized accommodation made our vacation start in a good mood. We were very comfortable during our stay, equipped with bathrooms and kitchen supplies, and we also used the rice cooker very well. It had two bathrooms, so it was good for our family to wash up after swimming in the sea. The bed was big and clean, but it was so fluffy for us that our backs hurt a little. It was also very convenient with 2 large boogie boards, a beach chair, parasol, flippers and other beach supplies. When we asked if we had any questions, the host answered us almost right away, so we were grateful. The pool and the Jacuzzi that starts late in the afternoon also made our vacation better. You can walk the Magic Sand and it takes only 10 minutes to get to Kona downtown. We are willing to stay again if you come to Kona again next time. I recommend this accommodation.

The place was great! The condo was very comfortable and had great amenities. Ronnie had beach chairs and an umbrella which made going to the beach pleasant. He also has snorkeling gear and I’m so glad we were able to snorkel on the island! Great place to stay at. Would book again in the future.

What a great find!!! Marco’s condo is everything as advertised & more! Beautiful view, quiet, clean, great new appliances. Location is easily walkable to all of Ali’i Drive. We ate breakfast on the lanai every morning, watching the paddlers, parasailers, and surfers. Complex has a fantastic pool & hot tub that are immaculately maintained. We miss it already!

Janell’s place was great and really comfortable with fantastic accommodations. The location is central and walkable. Would definitely recommend.

This was a perfect home base for our family. There are plenty of amenities within walking distance. The closest beach is great for families. The rental was well equipped for beach outings (towels, chairs, snorkels etc.) We brought our one year old and needed a high chair. When we asked Tanya about this item since it was not included in the listing, she went above and beyond to borrow one for our stay! We would love to stay here again if we return to the Big Island!! We would highly recommend this rental.
