Such a beautiful house - cosy, comfortable, nicely decorated & much larger than I expected! The house is well located for going out and about in Abingdon, or taking the short bus ride into Oxford city centre from the bus stop 2 minutes away from the house. Plenty of nice shops & supermarkets within walking distance, as well as a fun Mexican restaurant and a friendly parkrun. The house is super well equipped, and the hosts are helpful & responsive with super clear check in / parking instructions. Would highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay here. Plenty of room and the kids loved the trampoline and toys! We had everything we needed. Abingdon was beautiful. The house is in a great location. We would stay here again.

We had an awesome time at Emma’s cottage — it was perfect for some cosy and peaceful downtime. It’s beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and we loved looking through Emma’s art and book collection! Our pets had the best time sunbathing in the garden. Kitchen was very well kitted out and we appreciated the thoughtful treats. Oysters and delicious food at candlelit the bull (pub in Charlbury) was a great way to wrap up our time at the cottage. Thank you Emma for being so friendly and sharing your home with us. We’ll be back!

Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. So close to all of Woodstock’s shops and amenities. All within walking distance. Kitchen well equipped too.

Nous avons passé quatre jours très agréables chez Kate. Le logement et agréable, spacieux et calme. Les environs sont charmants, et nous avons eu accès au jardin et à un terrain de tennis, ce qui a beaucoup plu aux enfants. Je recommande ce logement.

Visited Owls Barn for a birthday celebration with friends and family and a baby. Beautifully decorated spacious barn. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Great location. Wonderful walks from the doorstep. Already planning return trip next year. And we saw the Tawny Owl on the garden fence on the last morning which was a real treat.

Lovely place for a getaway, the log fire with plenty of logs was just perfect on our snowy weekend away. Super comfortable and nice quality bedding. Milk, cookies and tea and coffee a nice little touch.

Nadia’s place was exactly as described and looked just like the photos! Nadia was a lovely host and very attentive. My partner and I had a really lovely time! Would definitely book again!

Lovely little place near to the Marina. Great bathroom and the kitchen had everything you’d need for a short stay. Milk in fridge was a nice touch. Not a lot of room to side of bed but good use of the space. Internet and tv worked well. Parking right outside and the place was easy to find. Access to a Bench outside to enjoy any sunshine. Fab weekend

Lovely, clean well equipped accommodation. Well positioned in a pretty village with easy access to the surrounding Cotswold & Oxfordshire countryside. Terry & Elaine were very gracious hosts and it was lovely to share the garden with them.

Not the first time I have stayed here, and certainly not the last. I have made a new booking already and looking forward to it! It is for me like home from home - in the middle of this lovely town. Fudge and apple juice are welcoming me as well as music. So cosy, so nice, so comfortable! Thanks again for letting me have such a good time!

This is an exceptional Airbnb in a beautiful location! Anne's communication with us was prompt and directions were very clear and easy to follow. Everything was absolutely spotless and the beds were so comfortable. As two couples we loved the size and the layout that allowed quiet for those who slept in a little later. The eggs, bread, jams and cereal that Anne provided were much appreciated and a very nice touch! We loved the courtyard, the proximity to the Catherine Wheel Pub and the fact that we had a place to park our car. This is an excellent place to use as a base to see the Costwolds - our walk from Bibury to Coln St Aldwyn and back (including a picnic lunch and pint at a pub) was a real highlight of our trip. Thank you Andrew for your tips and friendly conversation! Thanks Anne - your place is truly lovely!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Penn Studio. The studio was well presented and had everything we needed. It was quiet. We enjoyed a meal at the Bell and visited 4 local National Trust properties. A lovely short break. Thank you.

Afsoon was a wonderful and attentive host. Easy to communicate with and keen to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house is immaculate and peaceful - I could lie in bed and listen to the birds first thing. She offered to cook us dinner, for very reasonable price, which was a delicious Persian 3 course meal. We stayed here as we had to be at Dorney lake early. Although close to the lake, it is a bit of a drive to get to the other side. I would highly recommend staying here.

The house was even better than we had expected and had everything we could have asked for. It comfortably fit 12 people. We thankfully had beautiful weather so made good use of the outdoor space and bbq. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this property to my friends and family. Thank you 🤩

We had such a lovely stay at Jan’s place with the entire family for the Easter break. A great place to go with friends and family, with activities available for everyone. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here with four children (ages 2 to 6) and it was great. Lovely living area at the top of the house and plenty of space for everyone. We were very lucky with the weather and could eat outside on the balcony for most meals. Lots to do on the Lower Mill Estate for families. We would come again.

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

The place matched and exceeded the description and photos. It was exceptionally clean upon our arrival and well decorated. There was an abundance of cutlery, utensils, dinnerware, etc. Management company were extremely communicative before and through-out. Would 100% recommend this house for future traveler's.
