Such a quiet and beautiful oasis in Kyoto. Spending the mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, was definitely a highlight to our time in Kyoto. In addition, it was easy access to public transportation but also a short (and beautiful stroll) to various points of interest in town. I adjusted the timing of our Kyoto visit to accommodate this reservation, and I am so happy that I did.

Was such a cool accomodation, especially the out door area!! Loved the furniture and everything about my stay in Kyoto.

love love LOVE LOVE the place. It’s an older place but very traditional with some stuff updated. The host greeted us and gave us a tour of the place. gave us recommendations on things to do, such a bath place nearby and a popular ramen place that’s 2 steps away. The place itself was beautiful. it fit 8 of us comfortably. The bathroom with the bathtub was so nice after a long day of walking. We also loved the provided bikes. It is pretty close to most bus stops around 4-5 min walk. kyoto station is around 15 min.

We had a great stay at this house. Perfect for a family of 5 with small children and a nanny.

This BnB was brilliant, placed in a great area where we could easily go out and explore! The host was very friendly and helpful, messaging us each day and even bringing us a gift! I would love to stay here again

The place was fantastic, clearly a lot of care & consideration has gone into it. The location is great, just a few mins walk from central Kyoto. Check in was seamless, communication was great, nothing too much bother. Highly recommend

It is newly renovated and very clean. The host was friendly and responsive. One thing to note is that one of the rooms has a traditional Japanese-style bed, and the futon wasn’t very comfortable. Overall, still a great stay!

Nice, clean and quiet apartment. Near some bus stops for various lines, useful for exploring Kyoto. There are also several restaurants and a Lawson not too far from the apartment. Jun is friendly and reactive if any help is needed. We enjoyed our stay :)

Gros coup de coeur pour le logement de Sumi. Très confortable et situé dans un joli quartier tranquille à distance de marche des temples et des quartiers populaires. Sumi est une hôte exceptionnelle qui nous a accueillis chaleureusement et nous a donné des renseignements précieux sur les lieux et les restaurants à proximité. Séjour parfait, nous recommandons.

this place had more traditional Japanese furnishings (tatami mats, futons) which we really liked. The futon's firmness took some getting used to (which I hear is better for you), but a great opportunity to experience this for our first time. great location which was walkable to the main city streets and some attractions. felt a lot more spacious than our Tokyo AirBnb too. would definitely stay here again.

We just loved staying at Sumi's place, it was nice and cosy. Everything tidy, we'll organized and with instructions in English so it was perfect for us who don't speak Japanese. She was attentive and took care of us all the time. It's well located and it's close to almost all touristic areas. We felt like home and recommend it 100% ❤️

Sumi a été une hôte formidable. Elle nous a donné des instructions claires pour se rendre, nous attendait dehors à notre arrivée et était disponible si nous avions des questions. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et correspond aux photos. À quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs temples et de restaurants. Je recommande ce logement dans hésiter!

Ken was on of the most accommodating, friendly and helpful hosts we have met. In addition to the basics amenities, we enjoyed having a deck off the back of our unit with a table and chairs. We loved having breakfast outside while watching the birds over the river. We had easy access to the walking and biking paths on both sides of the river as well as many restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the location. Even though we were traveling during Golden Week, it was quiet at night and not crowded in the vicinity. Ken helped make our first trip to Kyoto (and Japan) a joy!

Beautiful location, walkable to main attractions. All areas were very clean and maintained. Hosts were super friendly and attentive. Great overall!

May was very helpful from booking to checking in and was very responsive. The apartment was spotless, clean and felt very homely. Was great location and close to everything.

The cleanest apartment you could think of, great position, walking distance to anything and great restaurant right next door! Will definitely try to book again if back in Kyoto.

We got engaged in Kyoto so this beautiful lil balcony will forever be etched into my memories, where we had our celebratory sake!!! The place is so nice and clean and in SUCH a good spot!!

Lovely place to stay - clean, big, and very well equipped!

Nicely designed building. Room is tight but cozy. Toilet has heater which is extremely useful in winter. Need to walk a fair distance to the closest train stations.

This accommodation is perfectly located, walking distance from Kyoto station. plenty of food and drinks in the area. plenty of space in the apartment for a little family.
