After being displaced from our home after damage from severe weather we were so fortunate to find this location. The house accommodated our family of 4 with pets for nearly a month without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are well finished, bedrooms were comfortable and the location was very clean. The backyard is a beautiful and relatively private space hidden within a 15 minute walk to the downtown restaurants or the beach area. Anzhelika is an excellent host who was very responsive when needed, provided clear instructions and ample privacy. We would happily recommend this location to friends and family attending the area for events.

This place was absolutely amazing and It located in a highly Peaceful and Private Location. The house is extremely clean and neat. The Furniture and interior design was Stunning. We had a fantastic time there. I would highly Recommend this place to anyone. Specially, Taylor was one of the great host I have ever dealt with. Very promo and responsive. My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

This is the third year we have stayed there. We attend a big event in town, so it is nice to come back to something cozy and comfortable. We even went down to the water for a short walk this year since there was no ice or snow.

Nous avons eu un problème avec la connexion internet, avec une collaboration entre nous Jade et les gens du service internet problème résolu en mois de 24 hrs. Nous avons trouvé une poêle T-falf endommagée, le lendemain deux nouvelles poêles nous ont été livrées. Il est très agréable de parler avec des personnes respectueuses et attentives. We had an amazing time at Hala's place, it is in the most majestic cottage setting less than an hour from the city. there is lots to do around the area and we enjoyed a day at the nearby Vetta Spa. Hala is an excellent host who was very responsive and was very flexible when it came to both check in and check out times. I would highly recommend a stay at Hala's place, we very comfortably slept 6 people for a bachelor party weekend and the cottage could even probably accommodate a slightly larger group. Thanks again for making our weekend Hala!

It is perfect place for family, very quiet and beautiful area. The house was clean and cozy, warm inside, but we recommend to bring warm socks or slippers. The lake is a few minutes away from the house , it is very nice! I highly recommend this place for family celebrations😁

Such a lovely home with very nice and comfortable furnishings. Lanny and Jennifer are very friendly hosts that made their suite a home away from home. I would definitely come back.

I stayed here for my son’s competition that was in town. It was far less than a hotel and offered more comfort. Large tv to watch the hockey games at night and full kitchen and living area. The location is super easy to get to off of the Hwy and is in a great neighbourhood. It was nice out so it was a real easy walk to the waterfront to stroll the main streets and we ate at a cool Italian spot. If I ever go back to Barrie, I’ll stay here again for sure.

For sure, if I have to go back in Peterborough, I would rent again this lovely apartment. It has all the basics and I appreciate the quiet neighbourhood. Self entry was easy with the detailed instructions of the host. The only comment I would give to other guests is that the mattress is quite soft and a little uneven. Nevertheless, I had two very good night sleeps thanks to the quiet spot and also very good quality of bedding.

Had a lovely stay here. The river is very peaceful, and the place has open space concept and had everything we needed for cookware. Very comfortable space, and loved the wraparound porch. View was amazing! Thank you!

I can’t say enough other than I felt like we went to our families house for the weekend. Her and her husband made us feel right at home. She had homemade brownies waiting for us and greeted us when we arrived. There was nothing missed in the way they have this set up. The most above and beyond experience with a beautiful breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

We have stayed at Susan’s place for our anniversary a few years in a row and it is always clean, cozy, and peaceful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away with a loved one.

Christine communicated well and provided a list of all requirements. The lake and dock is absolutely perfect. A few steps down to the water but the shallow waterfront makes up for it. Awesome spots for kids to be swimming without worry. Lots of space.

Great cottage with great host, we enjoyed our stay

I had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as amazing as I remembered, if not better. The space is beautifully curated, with such an artistic flair that immediately makes you feel at home. Every corner of the home is thoughtfully designed, blending comfort with creativity, making it a perfect retreat. Sara is an absolute gem. She was incredibly responsive to all my questions, ensuring everything was perfect for my stay. Her warmth and attention to detail made the entire experience seamless and inviting. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s not just a stay; it’s an experience.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, well equipped, has comfy beds and is dog friendly. Make sure to bring coffee, salt and pepper, oil, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher pods, paper towel and a hair dryer. We enjoyed the ice rink and outdoor hot tub and some snow shoe paths on the property. It's only a 20 min drive to the Bracebridge forest management centre which has well groomed cross country and snow shoe trails, no charge. We enjoyed our stay.

a really nice property nestled away from the main city! felt like we were up north given that it's inside a York region protected forest! the property was very well stocked, really good appliances and extremely clean! Patrick was amazing in his communications: gave clear instructions and was quick in his replies! plenty of space in the property, lots of parking space, backyard space and a really nice pool area! the pool also had plenty of amenities. Definitely recommend Patrick and his Cedar Escape property!

Great place to go to when considering a private and quiet place!

David and Mimi’s place was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay. Great for families and kids. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the private lake. They were very communicative and responsive, generous and thoughtful. We definitely recommend this place!
