We loved Hulda's apartment. The location is perfect for your Golden Circle Experience as it's really close to all the main attractions. The apartment is cute, very clean and easy to access.Also three of us were very comfortable and a family of four could manage well there. It's less than five minutes from multitudes of great restaurants in what looks like an up and coming town in Sulfoss. I could not recommend Hulda and her place enough!

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

Up there with one of the best places we have stayed. Beautifully decorated, beds were so comfortable, always warm and cosey, kitchen well stocked and everything so clean. We absolutely loved it. And the northern lights gave us a treat right outside the front door, such an idyllic stay thank you

We enjoyed our stay - great location for a trip to south coast and then to kick off golden circle. South coast was definitely the star - so glad we stayed here to easily access. Everything we needed was available and our stay was comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer - 2 nights was not enough!

Absolutely unforgettable stay! We spent a week at Thorvaldur's place in the countryside and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is serene and peaceful, perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and connect with nature. Located near the attractions of the Golden Circle is very convenient for sightseeing. Also a short drive, is the town of Selfoss, which made shopping for groceries and essentials super easy and convenient. Thorvaldur himself is truly an amazing host. Warm, welcoming, and always just a message away if we needed anything. His sense of humor made every interaction a joy, and he had us smiling the entire trip. Thanks to his expert tips, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights on 4 separate nights, an experience we'll treasure forever. The house is spotlessly clean, with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend Thorvaldur’s place to anyone looking to experience the magic of Iceland.

Nice place to stay with plenty to see around! I worked remotely here and enjoyed the kitties daily visits on the back porch! In unit laundry was wonderful and having all the appliances I needed- kettle, microwave! Thanks for the great stay!

This was a beautiful house and location. We used it as more of a stopover on the way back across the south of the country, but I would have happily stayed here a few days and used it as a base, with a lot of the waterfalls and activities in the area. Gorgeous scenery all around and great for viewing aurora since it’s dark and remote. The house was comfortable, cozy, well supplied. The stairs to the loft are definitely steep, more like a ladder, in case that matters to you, but the upstairs is great with two bedrooms. He was very helpful in advance making sure to send exact directions and a google map for finding it. I hope we return to Iceland and would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Rakel's place was a real treat, the location was like no other! Simply pristine surroundings and extraordinary landscape in every direction. We felt such peace and tranquility in this home away from home. The space accommodated us well by offering plenty of room and a comfortable sleeping arrangement. We especially enjoyed cooking our own meals in the well-stocked kitchen and taking in the view of local horses grazing nearby while sitting outside. We received clear instructions whenever we had a question and felt adequately taken care of by our host. We'd highly recommend booking a stay to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway in Iceland!

Clean quiet place that allowed us to relax after a full day of sightseeing. It is located in a convenient spot to go see so many of Icelands amazing sights

Location was perfect for sightseeing near and far. The airbnb was very comfortable and warm with a well equipped kitchen. Trausti was a great host. I would highly recommend this place.

Our stay at Larus’ accommodation was magical. Such a beautiful and restful setting, we felt relaxed instantaneously. The space was spotless with everything considered. The hot tubs and sauna were wonderful luxuries with the verandas thoughtfully sheltered from the breeze and the kayak’s in the lake which our boys enjoyed. The communication from start to when we left was proactive and clear with Kamil kindly meeting us at the cottages to guide us to the house and show us around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

Kids enjoyed the most because of the PlayStation .We loved the cute radio playing in the morning during breakfast and the coffee machine was perfect ! We were very comfortable in your house . House was perfect for a family of 4. Also loved the attractions folder . We enjoyed the Mexican food from the food truck company and the ice creams from the local shop. Watched a nice movie together last night . Was home away from home . Thanks a lot .

Loved the apartment. Was very clean, organized, spacious and quiet. Anna was a great host. Most importantly we were able to see the northern lights from the balcony. We had an amazing time. Will definitely be back.

Joli logement au sous-sol d'une maison. Un espace cuisine et la cuisine sont indépendants du reste de la maison, et on ne partage que la salle de bain (douche) avec le reste de la maison. La maison se situe dans un espace rural, un peu isolé, mais très joli. C'est un bel endroit où se reposer, calme et authentique, loin des hordes de touristes, ce qui est appréciable. Supermarché et station essence à 10 min en voiture.

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was spacious, extremely well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was amazing, with more tools and utensils than we could ever use. It is about a 10 minute walk to the New Old Selfoss area, where most of the shopping that we used is located. Sindri was responsive to our requests and accommodating to our needs.

Gunnsi’s apartment was conveniently located in the adorable town of Selfoss close to restaurants and grocery stores. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole place was super clean! Lots of conveniences like outlets with USB ports by the bed! And hosts were quick to respond to messages! I was a little concerned when we first arrived because the upstairs neighbor had a dog that barked but we only heard it when we would come and go. We would definitely stay again!

It was wonderful to stay at Arna's family second home. Great hostess. My first nice Airbnb experience. This apartment is very well situated and close to a lot of sights. The town of Selfoss is charming and easy to walk.. Highly recommend staying at her place. You will love this place. Very nice indeed. Thank you Arna. :-)

Our family of four stayed 6 days at Margret’s apartment. It was equipped with everything we needed - the small commodities like coffee and tea bags, salt and pepper were very nice to see. The local sweets left by the host were a nice gesture too :). The apartment was spacious enough for the 4 of us to stay comfortably. The host is extremely responsive. All of my messages were responded to within minutes. When I mentioned that the kettle wasn't working on the evening of our first day, it was left by the door early next day. There were some crumbs on the wardrobe shelves and some dog hair (I think) in some places but that didn't bother us. We just cleaned it with the available equipment and detergents. We'd definitely stay there again if we were returning to Iceland.
