Located halfway between the historic town squares of McDonough and Covington. Close to Jackson Lake. Just 35 miles to Atlanta. Dogs welcome: Under 40lbs. Yard is small, so 1 dog max.

The 1811 Cottage is as unique as the 120 acre farm it sits on with it's wide heart pine plank walls, ceilings, floors, and the duel fireplaces. This historic settler's home features a living room, master bedroom on the main floor, and a huge sleeping loft, making it comfortable and cozy for one to six guests. Modern additions include a large bathroom with claw foot tub and shower and a nicely equipped, yet tiny kitchenette. The front porch is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee!

Swim, fish, ski, kayak, or just relax on the deck, dock or patio. Boat ramp located within one mile. Home has a swimming dock and a dock for boat hookup. No smoking, vaping or pets allowed. Maximum of 9 overnight guests and 5 cars allowed on the property. Maximum of 12 people total, day or night, allowed.

The Hillside Treehouse

Welcome to The Hillside Treehouse at Ramsden Lake, our newest accommodation. Designed to bring you closer to nature with floor to ceiling window, the Treehouse features a king size bed with luxury mattress, indoor vented compost toilet, kitchenette, large slipper tub, outdoor soaking tub and outdoor shower. This accommodation stays cool in the summer with AC unit, and stays warm in the winter with a wood burning stove. has shared access to the lake and shared use of a canoe.
