The Old School House is stunning Air BnB , super clean, very well appointed and Elizabeth is an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Newton Stewart.

It was a short stay, but everything was as described. Contact with Fleur was pleasant and nice, Fleur made sure we felt at home, Our wind turbine technicians had everything they needed.

We had a fantastic few days away in this house. there was plenty of space for two families of four and a dog. The enclosed garden and garden furniture were a great addition, especially as the weather was lovely while we were there. Would definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful house with so much character. The location was so peaceful yet close to Dumfries where we were easily able to get take-out for dinner. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way home but we found the house to be comfortable and well-equipped. The milk and water in the fridge plus all the seasonings/spices in the kitchen were such a nice surprise that we don't often find in AirBnBs, as were the very nice bathroom amenities. The only thing I'd mention - our daughter had us up at 5:30 am because there are only curtains, no blinds/shutters, in the bedrooms and, although the curtains are thick, it was still very bright in the bedrooms as soon as the sun started rising, which is very early at this time of year. Just keep this in mind if you're coming with young kids who are light sleepers!

We had a great time staying. Carolines house is lovely and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Throughout our stay there was a problem with hot tub which was out of Caroline's hands but she made sure to compensate with a meal on her which was very much appreciated. Lots of lovely little touches and gifts around the house. Would definitely come back and see this place in the warmer weather thanks for having us.

We loved spending Easter weekend in this lovely home. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed both the wood burning stove and the nice sunny terrace after exploring Cockermouth and the Lake District.

We had a blast staying at Joyce's place. She is such a good host, really warm and welcoming. She had wonderful suggestions for places to visit and is always open for a conversation. The property is incredible! Absolutely loved the stay and will recommend this one!!

Keswick is a beautiful base for visiting the Lakes District and this apartment is in a great location in Keswick. Easy to walk into the centre of town for dinner or groceries. The apartment had lots of good books about nearby walking and the gas fire was a lovely addition. Unexpectedly spacious flat with well equipped kitchen.

Eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft in einer landschaftlich tollen Umgebung! Rachel und Mike sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber und in der Wohnung haben eine Karte mit persönlicher Begrüßung, Schokolade und Getränke auf uns gewartet 😊 Von dort aus kann man prima Lake District erkunden und es ist sehr ruhig. Die Hunde von Rachel und Mike sind super lieb ☺️

Lovely home, fantastic location for walking into town or along the river. Although it overlooks a main road it's really quiet. Lovely suntrap of a balcony. We had a minor electrical issue which was fully resolved within the hour. Accurate description of the house, we would recommend it.

Perfect location for our golf trip. The Caravan was absolutely perfect for the 3 of us. Plenty of space, parking outside, great terrace and facilities in the van were great. Site itself the sports bar was great for when we couldn’t be bothered to go into the town. Joanna as a host was fantastic, went above and beyond to help us and provide recommendations etc for our stay.

Throughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent position for exploring the area. Very comfortable accommodation. Large bed and powerful shower. Would book again if in the area.

Lovely ground floor apartment, in very easy walking distance to the centre of Keswick. On road parking was free of charge, and we had no problems parking close to the house. Nice & clean - had no issues or problems at all.

Nicky and Steve are very friendly and helpful hosts. Location is very peaceful with lots of character. Great location for exploring the area. We played golf at Glenluce and Newton Stewart, and there is lot more to do in the area. Pool table very good to have available on the day of torrential Lounge area is very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

A perfect place to stay en route to the Highlands. We would recommend and would certainly like to return to explore the local area. One night wasn't long enough. Highly recommend this lovely apartment with its beautiful decor and comfy bed. The treats provided for adults and dogs were a lovely touch

What a fabulous place! The apartment has been designed and decorated so well, you can tell a lot of care and thought has gone into it. Catherine and Alan were lovely hosts, little touches like leaving jam, shortbread, etc and being welcomed by them turn a stay into an extra special one. There are lovely woodland walks and gardens right on the doorstep, it’s a beautiful quiet relaxing area. Good place for exploring this lovely part of the world. Can’t recommend this Air BnB highly enough. I wish we had stayed for longer and hope to be back!

The Annexe was a really relaxing and peaceful space. It was super clean & private, had everything you'd need for a short stay. Adrian was super helpful and responsive, and the bottle of wine & welcome card that was left for us on arrival was a lovely touch. We will be back 😊

The accommodation was absolutely perfect (& even exceeded the description, which in itself was delightful). Absolutely spotless accommodation, well equipped with outstanding views of the surroundings Cumbrian Fells. Ideally located for access to Keswick Town Centre and environs. Our hosts (Ashley and Steve) were extremely attentive and friendly; and we are excited at the prospect of staying again at their lovely accommodation. Plenty of parking available & clear instructions on directions to the property. Thank you so much for a memorable stay.

Beautiful apparent with lots of things to do aroud. Very clean and organised and a very friendly hoast. Spacious bathroom, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Overall a beautiful weekend away.
