We had a great time! The view was incredible. This beautiful cabin had everything we needed and more to enjoy our time away. It was also comfortable and very clean. A lot of thought went into the furnishings and accommodations. It was a home away from home. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of dishes, bedding and towels for our family. Our host was attentive, responsive and helpful. We will certainly stay here again when we visit Petit Jean. Thank you Mary Ruth!

Great place and great host. Loved the area and really enjoyed all of the supplied firewood. Property just as described and overall was a wonderful stay.

My family of six had a great stay! We hiked many of the beautiful trails of Petit Jean State Park and Eleanor's place was a short (10 min. or less) drive to the trail heads. The home provided lots of room for us to relax both indoors and out. The view from the back deck made it everyone's favorite spot to gather. The kitchen is very well stocked for preparing meals with pots and pans of all sizes, serving dishes, dinnerware and flatware. A lot of thought was put into providing everything needed for a wonderful stay. Do not hesitate to book this listing. We hope to return next spring!

We booked Last Buck Cabin for a siblings hiking trip. The Cabin had everything we needed and more - and was the perfect setting for our trip. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and our hosts left fresh baked cookies for us on our arrival. This was a repeat trip from a hiking trip 3 siblings and their spouses took 8 years ago, but two of us recently lost our spouses. My sister and I brought some of our husband's ashes to scatter at Lost Valley on this trip. The peaceful atmosphere at Last Buck Cabin was a perfect place to reflect and relax. Thanks to the owners and hosts for everything!

My husband and I stay at John and Tracy’s cozy farmhouse every time we come to Arkansas as it’s a taste of home; very quite setting with a fully furnished clean house plus, a pond in the back and cows in the pastures. Both John and Tracy are extremely friendly people who go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and they are right there if you need anything ! This last visit for us was bittersweet as my husbands mom recently passed and we knew it was here we wanted to stay as we took care of everything; which was very comforting without stress. When we arrived and walked into the kitchen, Tracy blessed us with gorgeous flowers out of her yard and a beautiful heartfelt note extending their sympathies…..so wonderful and memorable to know they sincerely cared.💝 Highly recommend their safe haven to anyone!! This was a peaceful, enjoyable getaway that I really needed. The property is beautifully kept and the porch in front by the pond is just idyllic. I rested so well and the full kitchen was perfect for preparing my meals. I will definitely be back for more hiking at the nearby trails and to relax in the peace and quiet. If you want a peaceful getaway where you will sleep well, this is it! As I side note, the owners were so helpful and even returned/mailed an item that I had unknowingly left behind. They are just wonderful people!

Sweet home away from home. Stayed 3 nights and rested well. Loved the spa bath room and the black out curtains for a restful night sleep.

Great setting and very peaceful. We enjoyed the privacy of the property and the location is easy to access. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay and appreciated the opportunity to stay near the Petit Jean State Park Cabins but with more privacy. We would like to return if we are able.
