Our weeks stay at the cottage was perfect. The host was incredibly responsive, the property was very clean, extremely comfortable and such a delight to be in. Our children loved the chill out room!! That was their highlight!!

Have just spent a lovely few days in Jane's beautiful little cottage. Its so pretty, beautifully decorated and in a lovely quiet location within walking distance to 2 local pubs and great countryside. The outside area is lovely, a real sun trap and its great to just sit and watch all the birds darting around, in and out of the barns which are opposite. Very relaxing. Jane communicated really well and check in/directions all very easy to follow. Would highly recommend.

We booked the house for a family weekend visiting in Derby. Great central location. Fantastic house with high ceilings and original period architecture, tastefully decorated. Loads of space to relax in and was a perfect stay. Highly recommended.

Just got home from a lovely, relaxing stay here. Met up with 5 friends who now live all over the country and this was a great, central location. Tom met us as we arrived and showed us how everything worked. House was clean with some quirky lamps, each bedroom had an en-suite plus kettle and cups. The hot tub was a perfect addition. Lost many an hour chatting away while sat in it. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our visit, would happily make a return trip.

I enjoyed my stay at Lola's. It was a nice, clean, wonderful stay. Lola was a great host. I will definitely return on my next visit to Leicester.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location for our meal at John’s House. We loved the quirkiness and individuality of this annexe. Exactly as described. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

I booked this as a gaming retreat for my friend and I as a mini-stag and it was so much more than we had hoped. Super peaceful, the Alpacas and Sheep were lovely to pet and we were given carrots to feed them which was a great treat. The golf cart was a lovely novelty too. We were really well looked after before and upon arrival. The cabin is located in a private and secluded area with it's own grounds, lake and outdoor areas with a large firepit. It is very well appointed and clean with more than enough space for just us two. I'd love to bring the family here but dogs aren't welcome, other than this, the place is a perfect little retreat and I 100% recommend. Thank you, Mel!

We had an unforgettable stay at the stunning Langley Meadows cabin in May 2025 as a base to visit Derby. This place exceeded all expectations — we truly can’t recommend it highly enough and will absolutely be back! The luxurious cabin is beautifully set in peaceful countryside, overlooking a tranquil lake. We loved relaxing by the firepit after soaking in the hot tub — it was the perfect way to unwind. Inside, the cabin is spacious, immaculately presented, and finished to a very high standard. Touches like a projector screen, freshly ground coffee, and indulgent toiletries made it feel instantly like home — they've really thought of everything! A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts, Sue and Lee, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even decorated for my wife’s birthday with banners, a lovely gift, and a bottle of fizz — such a kind and personal touch. Their warm hospitality made the whole experience even more memorable. A well-deserved 5 stars!
