Our stay at Lucia’s place was so wonderful! She is was one of the most caring and attentive hosts we have experienced. She picked us up from the train station, walked us through her lovely appointed Airbnb (which mind you had everything anyone one could need or want). The location is perfect for walking around Agrigento and close to stores and restaurants. We hired Lucia’s husband for the day to take us to the Turkish Steps and Valley of the Temples. He was so personable. We didn’t have a car so we thought we would miss the Turkish Steps so we were so grateful he did this for us. Please don’t hesitate to stay if looking for a great place while in Agrigento!

This is a wonderful Airbnb in a former palace. We had a suite of rooms that were spacious and beautifully decorated. Part of the palace houses a ceramics artist and nearby are many stores that sell Castiglione's famous ceramics. Our Airbnb was next to the great piazza at the basilica of San Giuliano behind which are the famous 142 steps with ceramic panels on the step risers. Tina was gracious and accomidating. She told us about the Easter festival occurring right behind the piazza and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. Our kitchen had a very nice coffee machine, a big refrigerator and lots of counter space. Tina even brought us some breakfast pastries, had water, milk and juice in the refrigerator. This was a very special place and I wish we had more time to spend another night there!

This is our second time staying at this location because we love it so much! It has beautiful views and is walking distance to everything you need. Highly recommend.

It was a perfect stay, the apartment is huge, especially for two persons...it was fully equipped, every room is air-conditioned, and parking is easy and comfortable in the private car-park. Beach is really close, few minutes walk. Communication with host was good, but check-in and greeting are managed by Antonietta, the neighbour, who is the kindest person in the world...We would return for sure, definitely deserves the five stars!!

I enjoyed my one-month stay at Vittorio’s place. Vittorio is very friendly and personable. The place is close to the train/bus station so you can easily explore other cities in Sicily by public transit if you don’t have a car. It’s also close to Vittoria’s city centre. The place was clean and it has a large TV, a small kitchen and a balcony. It has fast internet and a desk so you can use it if you are working remotely. The studio is also not on the street side so it’s quiet. Recommended!

Die Wohnung hat alles was es für einen kurzen Aufenthalt braucht. Antonella hat super schnell kommuniziert- ihre Mama hat uns alles gezeigt und geholfen.super nett - ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, ein Auto ist erforderlich um die Umgebung zu erkunden - Agrigente - Ect. Très bon accueil par Fabio qui s’est montré amical, disponible et de bon conseil pour nous indiquer un restaurant de poissons au bord de la mer ou un supermarché. L’appartement est fidèle aux photos et les climatisations des chambres fonctionnent très bien. La piscine est agréable après une journée de chaleur intense. La petite terrasse permet de déjeuner avec une vue sur la mer et la piscine. Une place de parking nous est réservée dans la résidence fermée. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et recommandons l’appartement de Fabio à deux pas de la scala dei turchi et à 20min de la vallée des temples.

We had a great stay. Francesco who welcomed us gave lots of useful recommendations and was always on hand to help. The villa was as described. We loved the outhouse next to the pool and hot tub and enjoyed playing pool and cooking there. Our only downside was that there is no where to walk to nearby although this was warned of with a car being advised as essential. The beaches are 30-40 minute car journey away. We visited scala dei turchi, licata, valley of temples and Cefalu with Cefalu being a longer day trip (1.5 hours each way) but worth it. Thank you, we will back to Sicily I am sure!

Calogera est une hôte chaleureuse et disponible, le logement est très confortable et spacieux avec une excellente literie. Le quartier est calme, on peut garer sa voiture dans la cour si elle est petite. Ce n’était pas notre cas mais il y a des facilités à se garer à proximité. Calogera a préparé de quoi avoir un petit déjeuner car les cafés et restaurants sont fermés pour la plupart le dimanche de Pâques. Nous recommandons ce logement très pratique et authentique.

alles bestens, wir hatten eine gute Zeit. Nur die Küche ist etwas karg ausgestattet, viele sehr zerkratzte beschichtete Pfannen, aber sonst wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!

Andrea's place is lovely. After being in Napoli and Palermo for a week, it was a nice change of pace to be in the country. The pictures of the cottage do not do it justice. The cottage is quite a it bigger than the pictures suggest. The bed was comfortable and cozy. Our favourite part of staying at Andrea's was drinking wine and looking at the scenery. My husband and I would definitely recommend staying at this air bnb!

Wir waren von der Einzigartigkeit der Unterkunft mehr als positiv überrascht. Alles hat gepasst. Es wäre gar nicht nötig gewesen, viele Ausflüge zu machen, da selbst ein Tag im und am Haus unglaublich erholsam war. Charlie ist ein sehr aufmerksamer, aber auch zurückhaltender Gastgeber. Ausgewogener kann ich mir einen Urlaub nicht vorstellen. Vielen lieben Dank für all die Mühen! :)

We felt right at home at Chiara’s place. The house is beautiful with everything you need, but it’s all about the surroundings- that view! The wonderful sandy beach is an about 10 a minute steep but very do-able walk. It felt like we were at the end of the earth, in the best possible way. When we went at the end of April the restaurants on the beach (and they are right on the beach) were open but the sunbeds weren’t out and it felt so beautifully wild (but with the joy of being able to sit and have a drink or a meal right there). It’s such a big beach and the few small restaurants don’t impact the view so I think it would feel the same even in peak season. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

I proprietari sono persone molto ospitali, gentili, generosi e disponibili. Ci hanno fatto trovare frutta fresca, olio locale e ci hanno offerto una torta tipica di Palermo “ melone di gelo” … buonissima. L’appartamento era pulito, spazioso e ben accessoriato. Lo spazio esterno a disposizione è in un contesto meraviglioso, tra uliveti , sempre fresco e ben ombreggiato. Un esperienza fantastica da ripetere. Grazie!

Wir waren mit unserem 6-Monate alten Sohn dort. Die Wohnung war sauber und der Garten gepflegt und super schön. Wir haben fast die komplette Zeit draußen verbracht. Drinnen ist das Ferienhaus eher funktionell, aber alles ist vorhanden und funktioniert. Einzig das Geschirr war wohl in der Spülmaschine vorher nicht 100% sauber geworden. Wir wurden von Domenico sehr freundlich empfangen und konnten bereits deutlich früher als beschrieben einchecken. Er hat uns ausführlich Tipps für Unternehmungen, den lokalen Restaurants und Spezialitäten gegeben. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut, während des Aufenthalts war er immer gut erreichbar und hat uns Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Man ist innerhalb von wenigen Minuten an einem wirklich schönen Strand. Als wir über Ostern da waren, war hier auch noch nicht viel los. Der Ort ist nett, aber recht verschlafen. Es gibt einen super Bäcker und eine ausgezeichnete Pizzeria. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden.

Moderne, saubere Unterkunft mit grundlegender Ausstattung und mit schönem Blick auf das Meer. Gut zu erreichen durch die Nähe zu einer Hauptstraße. Wenn man ein Auto hat, ist die Unterkunft gut geeignet, um sich die Umgebung (z.B. Agrigento) anzuschauen.

Nulla da dire, appartamento molto accogliente, curato, pulito e confortevole. Scicli stupisce per la sua bellezza ed eleganza, negozi aperti anche di sera...da visitare! Host molto gentili e disponibili. Ci ritornerei volentieri!

beautiful house, wonderful space, Close to the beach and wonderful view. it was early. spring and the weather was cold-ish and the house has a very good heater. also AC in all rooms. lots of beautiful books and magazines about art, Sciacca town, sicily in the living room. also great recommendations where to eat. kitchen is super well equipped and we felt really at home cooking for the family. the only thing that hat it is not mentioned in the description of the apartment is that the place is a house divided in 4 apartments. one of the rooms has an exit door and windows directly to the entrance and patio of one of the apartments. so when people are there and talking normal, there is no isolation to the sounds coming from outside. same to the apartment above, someone was cleaning up there in the evening and it was very hearable. there is no ceiling lamp in most of the rooms and at night the light is low. all for all we had a lovely time and loved our stay.

Loved staying here! I will definitely be back! I slept like a baby. It’s very convenient and close by everything!

Fabio and Salvatore are incredible hosts, very responsive and caring! The first-rate location: very quite, close to all attractions of the old town.

Wir hatten als Familie zu viert eine tolle Zeit! Die Unterkunft von Stefania war sehr sauber, hatte eine super Ausstattung wie beispielsweise Strandspielsachen für die Kinder, sämtliche Küchen- und Kochutensilien. Das Haus war gemütlich und hübsch dekoriert. Die Außenbereiche waren ebenso schön! Stefania war eine perfekte Gastgeberin, die immer erreichbar war und tolle Tipps für die Region gegeben hat. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich willkommen geheißen, ein kleiner Willkommensgruß wurde uns ebenso überreicht. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

We really enjoyed our stay! Cristina and Salvatore were very responsive and quick to answer any questions. The location is just what we wanted, easy walk to beach, Turkish Stairs, and a few restaurants. The view from patio was incredible! The unit was perfectly suited for my family and parents. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plus games and books were a nice bonus for my kids. Thank you for the hospitality!
